This reminds me of that one short manga where I think since they were in highschool they fell in love with each other, and then they decided their future together so the guy worked hard for her. He then ended up neglecting her in the future, and didn't even know she exist or what she look like because all he had in mind was work. The girl ended up dying from a disease and the guy didn't cry. When he got in to a train to go to work, he somehow saw a woman who was in highschool uniform and his heart was beating. They spend sometime together. In the end, he realized who that highschool girl was, it was his dead wife. He realized what the reason was on why he keeps working hard to earn money, it was all for his wife. And his wife is now gone, he then cried and cried.
