I think the majority of what you’ve said is wrong. The author has clearly specified that this is not a Yaoi or a BL. The manhwa deals with heavy themes like rape, abuse, violence, gore, torture, death, sexual assault, and so much more. This is a manhwa for 18+ readers. I also want to emphasize that Killing Stalking is not a romance. Sangwoo was inspired by Ted Bundy, a serial killer who kidnapped, sexually assaulted and murdered numerous girls. It doesn’t stand out to me how if Yoonbum was female he’d magically stand out to Sangwoo in his eyes. Yoonbum *wanted* to be a girl, he was severely jealous and knew Sangwoo was straight. Even if Yoonbum was a girl, he’d probably have already died during the first chapters as I don’t understand why Sangwoo would let him live in that situation. Yoonbum is literally held captive.

If you also think that “It’s mockery to be labelled as BL as the author made it that way because it would sell like hot cakes”… that’s just not okay to say. Sangwoo blamed Bum for what happend to Bum, he blamed Bum for getting raped as a child by his uncle. Sangwoo would blame you for your trauma. If you are female, he would be a misogynistic asshole to you. If you are a gay man, he would be a homophobic asshole to you.

So basically, what i’m trying to get at here.. His gender doesn’t matter. He was still raped, held captive and even if he was female, it’d be the same but instant death. There was only one person in his heart and it was him mom.

It doesn’t even matter if it’s bl or not. because it’s not.
