N in novel they do end up together n the son knows of their relationship.

Yes, it is Gale Winsor from Dark Heaven. This is a completely different story though, as sequel or spin-off if you will. It takes place in Korea (I think?) after Dark Heaven's events and does not involve other DH characters than Gale (for now.) (:
