Sexuall assault in this case, if the couple are married/living together.... they consent to having sex anytime, but still having sex with someone unconscious even if you're living together without having a clear " yes" considered a sexual assault. I disagree if the married/living together part. I guess lesgislation depend on the country we're in, but being married and living in the sme house as someone doesn't mean you want to have sex with them whenever they feel like it. Uke did not felt bad about it nor he was unhappy about his man having sex with him in his sleep .in a relationship we can read our partner behaviour ,mood and persnality in some relationship sex in sleep is okay in some it is not .in this particular case it works for them so be happy there is no damage in this story .if there was people wpuld have talked about it if the uke was not okay people are not okay either.
The more we talk about it the more people and mangakas will be aware of this, the older yaoi mangas are full of romanticized rape scenes, the mindset in the yaoi community has been changing , thanks god, and some mangakas even apologized for romanticized rape scenes or made the characters in the story realize this and apologize, that's a small change but important . I'm not saying is wrong to put rape in a story bc is just portraying the reality of someone like 13 reasons why and other sitcoms but romanticize that is wrong
