Honest review time. Lmao that looks so depressing compared to how i delivered in my past comments. No.1 The mc is genuinely a psychopath. But i do think he’s a good guy. Both seasons ended with him showing off his humanity. One with him being thanked despite his insane methods, and him having time spent with his family. Two, when he broke down crying once he finally managed his revenge. I never thought he took it too far. In fact all the right people were brought down and used, he was the perfect representation of revenge. I stand by it. Well done. There was unnecessary drama, stupid romance. Nothing. Pure revenge, he was smart about every move, he was willing to be broken, beaten and even die to carry it out. So many mcs dont have that will, they merely say they do but they never show it, this guy tho he planned out everything in case he died and thats how i knew he was legit. Just for the mc this read was already a 10/10. No.2 The side characters? Specifically Daesan as a whole. That tiny town. The main reason I personally think that mc was able to go that far with his plans was how secluded that town was. What was it? “Country folks always huddle together?” It made corruption so easily covered up cuz each townfolk knew to let it pass, there was already the groundwork mc just made that shit work in his favour. When his people took over.. well at least they arent corrupt. No.3 Hypocrisy, it’s basically the same thing no? People ruling over people? Mc used similar methods to what the golden circle did in a way.. actually no maybe not but the fundamentals are the same no? Get people under your command, beat the shit out of them, gain power, use them to your advantage. It’s the person who has that power that determines if it equals to tyranny. Hence why i will always believe mc is a good guy. He would probably shrivel up if i said that to his face lol. But yea that pretty martial arts boy? Yums. Anyways It’s a great read, perfect revenge, perfect mc. I thought the 10 years thing was a bit of stretch until i saw that white haired guy get put in a mental asylum and didnt even last a month. Mc is fucking scary, he’s perfect. 10/10 if im not wrong there will be side stories but i always make sure to write a comment after reading the main story immediately so that my perception isnt changed. Will come back after reading the side stories fully. To add the pacing was great, one chapter felt like 3 chapters in a good way. You wouldnt have realised just how much got done in one chapter, and seeing how it ended on chp 84 is amazing.
