yall this manhwa is ending on chapter 60, and not the end of the season, literally finishing. i think something may have happened to the author but incredibly sad to see such a good manhwa go...

ok i hated this one. kou is a piece of trash who plays "games" in which he makes someone completely fall in love with him, then cheat on him to make him miserable? wtf thats actually pure evil, and he literally just does it for fun too. wtf is his problem? and shinobu.... i mean i totally get that he just craves love, but seriously? from an asshole who only left you heartbroken? im sorry but thats just dumb. there are so many fish in the world, you deserve a much better man than this. so right now on this site its up to chapter 20 right? well in the last part when he said "its proof that theres another person like me", yeah that wasnt translated correctly. he actually said "its proof that theres another shame like me", which is COMPLETELY different. keep that in mind, it means that he approached him hiding the fact that he knows he has an ability while having a bad impression of him the whole time. anyways. they rlly start loving each other. then bam, hae seo finds out that do hyuk knew that he had an ability the whole time and hid it from him, and that he also has an ability. he was so hurt by the fact that he didnt approach him with pure intentions, hae seo tries to push him away while do hyuk is keeping him down by force and kissing him. then hae seo, while crying, manipulates his mind to make him leave the house. then he looks at himself in the mirror and makes himself forget their relationship. do hyuk is heartbroken and regretful after finding out he doesnt remember him, he faints and gets admitted to the hospital. because hae seo has these lingering feelings in him, he visits him a couple times. then he gets his memories back after he reads their old texts on his phone. he visited him to ask about it, then a person from behind tries to stab hae seo but do hyuk pushes him and gets stabbed instead. thats it so far, we all know do hyuk is not dying anytime soon lmao.

anyways i rated it 4/5 stars. the whole story progressed quite fast i didnt exactly love it, i wish i got more time to rlly enjoy their relationship and grow more affection to it so that i would actually be heartbroken when they broke up, i was in fact not sad at all while reading that part. and that stab?? that was very unnecessary, it only brought readers rage. also i just dont understand what hae seo was so mad about when he found out that do hyuk knew he had an ability and also had one as well. like what? u were also hiding an ability, why is it such a problem when it comes to him? also, like okayy?? he approached you knowing you had an ability, SO WHAT. if i thought i was the only one who had an ability then found out there was another one, i would try to approach them as well.. is it that wrong? i dont think so. i mean, yes, he couldve just faked his affection for you and date you just so that he can stay close to another ability user just because of curiousity, but then doesnt that mean you dont trust him? since u are thinking that he still has impure intentions and/or his faking his love.. anyways this story makes me mad but its interesting so im not dropping yet LOL.

its at ch 100 or something rn but there isnt that much to spoil. anyways, that new concubine attempts at getting yesuh in jail but fails since the emperor is on yesuh's side. they imprison her and she gets killed by the person she was secretly working for. before dying she scribbled something on the floor with blood but yugi comes it and scrubs it before anyone could read it. very sus anyways love him, heh... also yesuh finds out horen is alive and sends a letter to him and he also finds out shes alive. horen plans to do something to kill all humans, and probably take her out of there. emperor is cute too. when he was drunk on aphrodisiac after that new concubine spiked his drink, he confessed to yesuh, basically saying that he rlly loves her and is willing to drop all of his other concubines if she stays by his side. yesuh doesnt take it seriously, OF COURSE. hahae is cute as well. in the latest chapter when yesuh visited his home, some girl came up to her saying she is hahae's fiancee, although she isn't. hahae later tells her it's not true, but yesuh is like "okay, i don't really care about that." and he was like "....i want you to care about it." AHHHH so cute. anyways YUGI, MAD cute. he already knew yesuh was baan, not surprising. when she was sleeping, he came up to her. she was muttering "horen.." and he looked sad for a sec then was like "say yugi". he then whispered "yugiyugiyugiyugiyugi" until she said yugi. ISNT HE THE MOST ADORABLE BEING >_<

im gonna be honest tho, i dont get ml vibes from yugi. although i rlly like yugi, i was kind of let down when i first found out that the emperor isnt the ml bc thats what i was expecting, and i didnt have a problem with him becoming the ml so like.... so far, im still rooting for the emperor even though ik he isnt the ml, even though i love yugi more. like, we dont even know anything abt yugi except that he likes yesuh. who knows, he might be some guy who can barely make a living for himself bc hes broke. haha honestly who cares, but i want a male lead that will be able to provide the best for our sweet lovable female lead, and so far it seems like its the emperor. k but it honestly makes me so sad when ppl hate on the emperor... hes just a guy whos inexperienced when it comes to love, hes so cute imo. anyways yugi said that he isnt on the emperor's side, or anyone's side at that matter, so i'm really just hoping for him to be some powerful person still. as for horen, baby im sorry but we rlly dont know much abt you... yesuh most definitely still loves horen so i dont know how that relationship will be resolved but... its sad honestly, imagining how heartbroken the emperor, horen and hahae will look when they realize they will never be the one she loves. damn...

really do not enjoy the age difference here, it feels very illegal. shes a first year in high school and he's 26, so their age difference would be in between 10-12 years... "you seem to have grown a lot" "you're treating me like a child again" "i'm saying that your body is my type" WHATDIDHESAYYYY

basically they get together, obviously.... sangtae has liked jinwoo every since in high school when he defended him from his friends badmouthing him. anyways they both rlly love each other but jinwoo is the more mature person in this relationship and is very calm and cool i love him its kinda hard to explain everything since theres a lot going on.. he eventually gets freed from the curse (seeing his imaginations) when he does something to some buddha stone i think???? theres so many little arcs to this manhwa, like that one time sangtae tied him up and put in a vibrator but then suddenly had to rush to work, so jinwoo had to stay in that position for like hours with a vibrator up his ass and one time jinwoo got ANOTHER curse on him and basically theres a number on his arm, and every time they try something that sangtae likes (a kink) the number goes down. they were trying out his kinks one by one, and then one night they had vanilla sex and it was so pure and cute and jinwoo told him how much he loves him and the number went down by like 3 or something in an instant which was so cute bc that means sangtae loves how much jinwoo loves him more than jinwoo trying his kinks we see that sangtae is quite insecure and is always worried about every single dent that might chip off their relationship. those are the ~depressing moments~ in the story.

uhh ok ive been staying farrr away from this manhwa just bc i can so easily sense the toxicity yk? but i decided to give it a try.... FUCK. this story got me so messed up and feelin so many emotions all at once. anyway, starting with geon. haa, idk what yall are on, but NAH i dont ship him with kyungsoo. do yall not remember what he did to him? while i was reading that i was thinking the whole time that i wouldve kms already if i were kyungsoo. not only rape but abuse??? nah i aint holding out. idc if he actually WILL treat him nice if they date. no. ok next, dong hyuk. honestly this one was so disappointing. like before, they had so much potential and seemed like they both genuinely enjoyed being around each other. then after they find each other again, we find out hes now a fucking crazy sex maniac?? like EXCUSE ME, he got HARD looking at kyungsoo getting raped???? immediately no. and after they started living together, all dong hyuk would think about was sex. its so sad bc he changed so much, it seemed to me like kyungsoo enjoyed being with him before but not as much now since its just the same sex that he used to have every day anyways. and tbh kyungsoo should not be apologizing for how dong hyuk changed. he changed by HIMSELF, they aint even have sex in the past. he most likely changed after seeing him raped and get hard. yep... also, i mean, the whole deal with him threatening yule to stab himself was kinda refreshing cuz thats kinda what i wanted to happen, like kyungsoo dying and yule going all crazy and regret mode. but still i kinda hate him.. onto kyungsoo. i felt so bad for him that i cried every chapter, but honestly??? he kinda fucking annoys me. all he did for 3 years was hide from his rapist, he finds love, but then gets found by yule and raped again, and then realizes he is still madly in love with his rapist. it hurt dong hyuk a lot since anyone would expect a victim to NOT be in love with their rapist, and dong hyuk went through quite a lot bc of him too. k but the whole idea of being in love w ur rapist is kinda insane. i mean, i kinda get it??? no i dont.. but i do. i mean, hes probably still hoping that he didnt change and is still the sweet guy, unfortunately that is not true. and ofc, yule's a dick and needs to go to fucking jail, along with his buddies, oh and geon. idc about his traumatic childhood past or his lack of humanity, those dont fucking excuse his actions. he had his lover gangraped then raped him every single day. just no.

overall, i hate all of these fucking characters. im still trying to figure out the ~secret meaning~ behind the ending cuz, aint no way the writer wrote that and was like "hmm thats good :D". rated it 3/5.

one thing they couldve elaborated more on was their mother's death. yeah, she died, but like she just fell by accident or sumn?? idk like geon be thinkin yule pushed him, while yule is saying he didnt..

k but seeing how at the end kyungsoo met up with yule again, im guessing hes gonna give him another chance?? sooo he didnt learn his lesson after all, ok. like why tf is yule suddenly regretting everything that he did to kyungsoo? after EVERYTHING. absolutely fucking no. kyungsoo finally was free from everyone yet decided to give his rapist another chance LMFAOOO

at this point idc. kyungsoo says he enjoys the rape- i mean sex with yule so.. get it i guess

oh also "hogu" means dumb/idiot/pushover and the title is hogu hagyeongsu, so..

my overall thoughts..

ok this was rlly sad wow. i just kept crying over how taeil loves her so much but is conflicted with reality. it was like they were fated to be together from the start, although i didnt quite understand the whole deal with them having similar talismans and stuff.. i honestly love their relationship so much, i rated it 4/5 stars. it was so good overall, but i felt that it was just slightly rushed towards the end. i didn't understand how hajun was able to give up on the person he said "i love you" to so easily, like he let taeil possess him to say goodbye to yuzu, and hajun most likely knew yuzu loves taeil. also the fact that yuzu never really showed much romantic feelings towards taeil but suddenly started wondering if she loves him kinda weirded me out. like the only times she showed romantic interest in taeil was when he was wearing hajun's face, and she was like "agh, he shouldn't say it with that face!". also taeil was being very serious when he told hajun that he should not tell her that hes actually still alive, but he approached her at the fan meeting LOL. yuzu is very cute and lovable, but when she blamed taeil she got me rlly mad... like legit she was blaming taeil for how her and hajun's relationship turned out, then a couple chapters later she realizes she loves taeil

anyway other than that its a rlly good story, i cant believe i read this all in one sitting. i recommend turning on "try again" by jaehyun while reading this cuz its a sad song LOL.
