That I cannot deny, the flow, the art, the personalities they're all well made, thought out, utterly excellent.
Even the actions of the emperor its so bad that you wince, sometimes SA in bl is done so casually that you think nothing of it but here its so well done that you feel pain and anger just watching it.

Not because its a bad story, no its because its written so well for what it is its hard to stomach and continue reading it. For me I had to stop when the youngest was tortured then killed for saving the mc. There is no right action to take when it comes to such an emperor. The only thing I could think while reading this is why can't we have a good manhwa following a normal person as an emperor. Why can't he treat his servants with care? Why can't he not be such an ass? Why can't he try and improve his country for his citizens? Why are such nasty emperors written and why did they actually exist in the past? What is the purpose?
This mc had no choice in anything. He is misfortune and fortunate at the same time. If I could give him any advice on what to do I would've told him from day 1 to take the emperor in control and make him his own slave. He said he'd let him do anything he please? (That is of course as long as he stayed by his side.) I'd have given him the advice of taking it.
In fact I'd like to see a story where the mc actually accepts the mls offer and takes everything he can from the disgusting emperor.
I do not see exactly how this ends but in all truth I hope that they kill the emperor. The mc will be scarred for life, there is no denying that, if he lived he'd still be scarred.
But nonetheless its an amazing and well written story. I just cannot stomach it.

Also legitimately the logic of all the characters except fl is so damn straightforward its disturbing. Honestly the fls logic as well its pretty dumb. The only character who is actually a nicely done and layered one is the head maid in the duke's house. Her advice is brilliant and honestly she has the most logic our of every single character that's present lmao.
Not to say the story is bad, no in contrast its very good. Yes very. I enjoy it, its nice, has the fluff, hell it kinda makes me wanna marry someone cause of how ideal they are.
But as most other isekai stories... the logic lacks a bit in terms of character personalities and actions. But heyyyy all well and good. Its a very good goody manhwa.
If I remember correctly crown prince also has other siblings, (spoiler! Him and I think 3rd? prince, will be the villains after the emperor is dealt with).
