i find it refreshing how the main leads aren't blushing around each other 24/7, don't immediately like each other after a few chapters and have their own goals and obligations outside the relationship. Also i find it funny how y'all are saying that the chemistry is boring meanwhile the stories where the main leads fall in love after 2 chapters have 0 chemistry, no build up and the relationship is blander than oatmeal.

Pretty sure there visually isnt any, which is why they are forced to wear black ribbons on their eyes during the Ball, so that people can distinguish between homunguli and the guests. Outside of those areas they are always in uniform or in their own spaces anyway, so its easy to distinguisb

Well, his whole programming was to be the most loyal dog to Eris so in a way it’s perfect that he would love her even if it cost his life because all he wanted to do was follow her. He wasn’t really supposed to have a personality other than that. So I think it’s perfect but also now she has the most perfect bf irl and he probably can express himself better now that he’s not controlled by the rules because at the end you could tell he had way more depth than he was allowed to express.

i do believe this story didn't really need romance in it cuz that how good the story was but i don't think the romance was bad, in fact i loved it! it was the purest love. and i think that was the whole purpose with anakin, in the original novel in the manhwa anakin was just a side character, an NPC that loved eris and had no background story to him, his whole purpose was to love the villain regardless of anything so that's why his character was like that. and eris fell in love with him not the prince, the knight or the preist but with a sweet man.

They're cute and all but imo the confession happened way to quick (2 chapters in really?) it would have made sense if this was short but there's 90+ chapters and the smut scenes were wack and could have at least been longer
