I don't think Dan is suicidal. He's depressed, he drinks alcohol until he blacks out, so I think he's there, an alcoholic sleepwalker, which could lead a depressed person to commit involuntary suicide.

I'm never gonna hate second lead guy coz he wàs made to do all those horrible things in order to be happy. But what main lead guy did was purely evil and selfish. Atleast second lead was doing everything to make his love intrest's life better and protect him all while ml just wanted to fuked our mc up
I hope 2nd lead is smart enough to realize that, out of the two "methods" to separate them, that the shaman suggested, he can only choose method n° 1 (which would be, by making those two hate each other) and NOT method n° 2 (which would be killing off the ml)... because I'm pretty sure there's no way yet *another* death on this 2nd ml's hands would get him "good" karma (as we've seen he's surrounded by PLENTY of vengeful ghosts, already!). Moreover, since the ml was a mere kid when he asked the evil spirit to create that cursed bond for him... That shaman probably still wanted to screw him over and was deliberately lying when he suggested that he kill him. I doubt that's in the 2nd ml's best interest
