I despise Jaekyung and have been rooting for his downfall, but there’s something so unsatisfying about him losing to OTHER pieces of absolute garbage shitbags who are not only scheming losers that can’t even hide how evil they are, but ALSO have to cheat in order to win. And now once again , Dan’s gonna get blowback for something that’s not his fault whatsoever, because he just has to suffer for no reason over and over and over again. There’s just no relief or excitement or anticipation for another chapter because it’s just constant annoying frustration.
I know I just complained about Dan suffering all the time, but I feel like a more interesting result would’ve been Jaekyung immediately confronting Dan about the picture, Dan telling him the truth about rejecting the offer, and before he used the relief spray on Jaekyung, he instinctually uses it on himself burning his hand. Because it’s happening so soon before the match, Jaekyung is off his game from the anger of the opposing side plus the pain in his shoulder PLUS a slight voice in the back of his head worrying about Dan’s injury.
All of this results in him losing the match. But that’s just me and what I would’ve preferred. In reality, he’s probably gonna lose the match and with the previous thoughts of Dan getting poached, having to fight his childhood bully (?), and Dan inadvertently injuring him less than an hour before the match, he’s going to go CATATONIC on him, probably physically and emotionally hurting him very badly (and most likely sexually), which will lead to Dan quitting, granny dying, and other shitty things lmao. I’m not looking forward to any of it tbh.
I’m still waiting for Garam to mention that the VERY LAST TIME he even brought up the possible IDEA of Jaehyuk liking him, he THREW HIM to the ground, leaving him with bruises, and called him a disgusting homo… the very last time… so maybe, instead of popping out the gate like “oops hehe I actually do like you so love me now :D”, he can realize his first and only step for the time being should be to APOLOGIZE. It’s really not rocket science but he is the ultimate himbo without any of the endearing qualities or actual issues with intelligence. He’s just so self absorbed that he’s an idiot when it comes to anyone else’s emotions or lived experiences.

I love Potato a lot and Heesung actually isn’t as bad as I thought he was. His lowkey manipulation with the love bombing stuff and how he easily moves on/gets bored of the people he pursues sorta skeeved me out a bit, but he’s definitely a better person then Jaekyung, and you can tell he doesn’t go out of his way to hurt others. It’s the way the typically domineering character suddenly loses all power in the relationship. He’s not gay, but for some reason can’t help buying this guy gifts, only wanting to sleep with him, covering him up when he falls asleep, literally saying he’s not attractive while impulsively kissing him. It’s so pathetic in the most hilarious and endearing way. He’s literally so damned whipped but still considers himself straight. I can’t help it, I love it so much. His reaction whenever he feels he’s “switched” is the entire reason why aspects of him are fractured in the first place. The entire goal should be to actively embrace all sides of him so that they don’t have to be conflicting parts of the whole. When he treats one like a parasite and the other as his loving “hyung” when they’re both part of the same body and both love him, all it’s going to do is cause a further divide between them when they should be meshing together. Humans are complex creatures with countless pieces that make us “us”, so the only thing he should be doing is reassuring him that he can love and accept and appreciate every aspect of him so that he no longer feels the need to hide/fight the different aspects of his personality. It’s all him. He just needs to feel safe enough to allow all of him to come through all at once.
