I seriously need to know if this is a serious Harem tag or if it's just going to be a series of comical near misses because everyone wants his A, of course.

Yeah, I'm getting some conflicting reports but I did manage to find a site for raws and it seems like he does sleep with the other 2 (Both of whom I dislike). At least, I saw him give Purple Guy head in one chapter and in Ch 40 it looked like he was about to top Creepy Blond kid but the raws end there. In previous chapters they looked pretty romantic. Crap, seemed kind of endgame from the scenes.
Ugh, I'm gonna pass. Creepy Blond Kid is just not it for me.

Maybe it's a problem of the translation constantly calling Ao Yue & Ao Gu's secret identities past lives. Seems more like they took on different names to live in the human world, Xuan Yue and the other one, forgot Au Gu's.
it just plain doesn't look like reincarnation. All this stuff seems to have happened in the same lifetime. I'm so confused.
The story so far seems to be that Ao Yue's father sealed a powerful demon inside him, his memories were erased in the process and he left to go live among humans thinking he was just a demon. He then met Ryan's actual past life, Xiao.
They got entangled and I'm fairly certain Ao Yue gave him his pearl to save his life, which had the demon inside it, leading to Xiao becoming a demon because he was just a human with no defenses.
Then sometime after this we get those random scenes of Xiao assaulting Ao Yue and Ao Yue cursing him.
Ao Yue's soul was fractured in the process, presumably by the assault and torture and Ao Gu actually killed Xiao who was reincarnated into Ryan but since the demonic essence was entwined with his soul the demon came with him? Though, the fact that he was alone on the mountain makes me think he wasn't reincarnated at all.
I think Ao Gu did not succeed in killing him and Xiao simply reformed into current Ryan, reborn in a way because he was turned into a kid again.
I'm fairly certain the Xiao personality in Ryan's head is just the demon that was sealed in the pearl while Ryan is actually Xiao since they act fairly similar (kinda dumb) though Ryan talks more.
Meanwhile Ao Gu, I think, saved Ao Ao by putting his soul back together with the binding needle and in the process Ao Ao was also turned into a baby again and he couldn't turn into an adult because of his lost soul fragment and not because, as grandpa said, because Ao Gu wished for him to stay small. THough I much prefer that more lighthearted reason from the early chapters.
The ages before and after the Xuan/Xiao stuff is a bit wonky because we see scenes of Ao Gu looking like a kid alongside Ao Ao even though in other's he looks like an adult while holding baby Ao Ao, specifically that scene where he wanted to severe his relationship ties.
IDK, it's possible I'm getting Ao Gu's flashbacks confused with Ao Ao's who seems to remember some of his time as a child but it could have all been stuff that happened after his soul was reformed.
All and All even after "Getting" the story I still don't 'get' the story.
Youre right in everything, Ao Yue is Ao Gu's biological little bro who got cursed to have a demon sealed inside him when he was still a baby, and thus was expelled from the palace with his memories erased, took the name Xuan Yue, grew up and met Xiao, died and was just resurrected as a baby by Ao Gu, without any of his previous memories, thorugh some kind of magical ritual... Then Ao Gu renamed him AoAo and "re-adopted" him as his little bro (though AoAo and other people obviously don't know this and their dad never said a word either way, letting other people assume whatever they wanted).

This is kind of why I also hate my picture being taken. Not that I have a stalker, had something pretty close once, but taking pictures without someone's permission and posting them on social media is just not cool. I hate people who do that.
On another note, others pretty much called it. His Not Family only took him in because he probably has some trust fund/insurance money left by his parents that they want considering everything in that room was red-tagged for repo or something close.
ugh.... I assume we'll never get an explanation for why he started seeing them as humans, which was just freaking hilarious, or why he stopped.
I mean it ended after Tae young returned to normal with no memories but why did he have to see all animals as humans when Tae young was the only one that was actually human.

Haesung will go with Lotus to the alien planet, would love to see some alien/futuristic world (thought they did mention their planet is on the brink of destruction so who knows.)
Lotus will leave and Haesung will wait for him for months to years until the aliens make contact with Earth for real and they reunite.
I'm hoping for the first thing since I don't like the "I'll wait for you/separated lovers" trope though I like the comedic takes of them having a dramatic goodbye and the SO comes back after like a few days. Like, lol

I've read so many of these stories where the original was supposedly some 18+ smutty book but the actual story we read can't get past a PG-13 rating. At this point I avoid any isekai that claims the original story was smutty because it's kind of a disappointment.
