The only character I liked died wtf
I honestly don’t feel sorry for blondie, I hate it when someone else tells you your feelings are invalid and then after you die he’s all regrets likee

I don’t think it was obvious at all for like a big chunk of the story I thought he liked MC or ML by how many time he’s asked to have sex with them, not once did he show affection towards Minyung (Is it Minyung? The guy that died? )
And even if he didn’t see himself as worthy of his love it still doesn’t change the fact that he invalidated his feelings. To me that guy died thinking Blondie didn’t like him or even cared for him judging by the fact that he even got married and had a kid as a way to move on from blondie, it shows he saw no chance in getting together with him

Tbf it’s not really obvious kind of a difficult read between the lines. No chance of getting together doesn’t mean there’s no feelings. Blondie was not gonna be able to provide him with a normal functional relationship. Clearly he has a messed up childhood and uses sex as some sort of coping mechanism. But to me him even separating himself sexually from minyung when he could’ve “played” (though they love each other Blondie needs to heal first before he can be in a real relationship and reciprocate some love) him forever shows love and respect. He stepped away cos minyung deserves better but minyung would’ve never ended that relationship first imo.

I’m not saying that there’s no feelings, I’m saying that they were never shown. It’s clear that Blondie isn’t looking for a relationship so him not starting anything with Minyung was understandable.
But what I’m talking about is how he completely told him that his feelings weren’t “real” which is super disrespectful. It takes a lot of time and courage to confess to someone and for that to be disregarded and taken as pity is super rude.
What Blondie said caused Minyung to be doubtful in his own feelings. This is shown when he is contemplating whether his feelings for his wife are real or not, because if his feelings for Blondie were “fake” would they also be “fake” for his wife?
And for Blondie to have the audacity to only take back what he said after Minyung died, i thought was stupid.
I understand he could have a low self esteem but thay doesn’t give him the right to completely invalidate someone’s feelings after they built up the courage to to tell him. Especially when he could’ve explained so many times before Minyung died that he didn’t mean what he said before, but instead he waited until it was too late.
So that’s why I didn’t feel bad for him.

I get what you’re saying. I think I already covered it though. Blondie doesn’t feel worthy and so sees minyungs feelings as coming purely from pity. Though it’s not nice to say it’s Blondie’s reality because it’s been warped by his traumas. Like I said before he definitely meant it, he’s just upset he didn’t reciprocate and express his feeling for minyung. So ofc he’s gonna take it back now, because if he lived it wouldn’t be a romantic relationship but they at least would’ve always been in each others lives.

So wait he views Minyung’s love as pity right? But then you’re saying that he’s upset he didn’t reciprocate his feelings? What feelings? If he viewed Minyung’s confessions as just pity why would he even think Minyung was in love with him? He’s even says before that why would Minyung not say anything when he was sleeping around with other people? So he’s doubting Minyung’s feelings for him. It wasn’t until Minyung died that he changed his mind and wished he believed Minyung from the start and didn’t mean what he said before.

Yes, reciprocate because even though he’s doubtful of minyungs feelings; he has feelings for minyung. Minyung showing 0 possessiveness over him probably made him doubt his feelings even more, because why are you okay with that if you actually have strong feelings for me, ygm? I think when ppl die those left behind just regret a lot, regardless of how feasible it had been when they were alive. Wanting that romantic connection, in reality, for Blondie was just unrealistic but now that he’s died ofc he wishes they had that. Even though it would probably have been filled with turmoil because he doubted minyungs intentions and has a lot trauma to heal from. Also minyung seems to be unable to set boundaries with Blondie which is a recipe for disaster with someone like Blondie who would easily self-sabotage.
He takes role playing a little too seriously
