Yes but it’s extremely well done and includes completely new revelations. It also triggers character development for Ines. Let’s not forget she’s hiding major secrets from Carcel. So it will be a moment of her realizing she expects honesty from him while not being honest with him.

If he was at all regretful, he would have stepped aside after he saw how much happier she was with Ian. He never cared about her opinion or well being before, and he still doesn’t. He didn’t care about fighting his wrongs, he wanted to fix his failure to win her over.

It’s not her child but the guy that fell in love with her (not marquis). He is father of children and her now dead “sister” girl she was raised with. As a beautiful woman she had to protect herself so she told people she is young widow with 2-3 kids so no men would take her and pursue her. She just took care of children as he abandoned them.
