The supporting characters are top notch in this webtoon! And that King, ohlala~, such a snack ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ . I've been eyeing him since Chapter 1.
But for real, I just can't get behind Sangee anymore. She was interesting starting out, had some spunk...but now, just disappointing. All her ambition and drive seems to have vanished esp in S2 and S3. I mean, she literally has the ruthless King and Princes under her leash, as she intended in S1, but she couldn't dog walk William? Wasn't she a masterful manipulator? An intellectual?
Also, I get her docile facade, it's a pretense. Though after falling in love with all these supporting characters, it's unsettling that she is still fake around them. But seriously, who can blame her? They loved her fake persona and the lies she spews, so the show much go on.
And this is what I find most infuriating in this webtoon, why is she that surprised when they show concern. Like girl, you manipulate your surroundings to get your way, and then, the next moment you're genuinely surprised it worked? I mean, you've been at this game your whole princess life + a bit of your past. You seriously took pride in being able to have men wrapped around your fingers, so why you surprised!?! EXPLAIN!!
Also, these supporting characters i've mentioned don't include Han Jinsu. Whenever he makes an entrance, I keep wanting to show him the exit.
Okay, couple things:
The lead continues to harass the teacher, despite knowing he's faithful to his wife.
Later, she forces herself on him.
Then, she proceeds to blackmail him, 'I'll let your wife know you kissed me'.
Quite honestly, she is toxic. And 'NO means NO' applies to all genders.
The wife's death and the teach's eventual love for her just don't justify her actions.
Wait, so who would be Levi's host? Who does he try to protect?
He got his powers when he was real young, so possibly Kenny. However, he still remained badass against the wall of titans and Zeke after Kenny's death, so who!?!
Possibly, himself?
I love me my self-loving KING!
I like to think that he is a self-driven guy. He's got a strong sense of self preservation from when he was a kid because of Kenny and when he grew up he realized that he can have a sense of purpose as well (leading humans to freedom). I think he is driven by his burdens alone (his and Erwin's mountains of corpses). Though it is also apparent that he just cared generally for a certain brat and a dead commander.
Throughout the series, Erwin was the one that Levi wanted to protect the most. (That's after he had lost all of his friends to a titan.)
Ackermann could only activate their protective instinct to the person that can shift into a titan, in this case it's Eldian.
So the safe bet is that the host that Levi trying to protect is clearly NOT Kenny, because Kenny is also an Ackermann. And he became strong when he was still a child is because Kenny had made him go through a rough training. They once lived in the unerground, it's a tough live there.
Hm, if anything, the crown means a lot to the prince, he needs to be the only one on top. Even if it's his own fiance, he can't stand them being above him. He probably views everyone as a threat and keeps them at a cold distance veiled as kindness/ equality toward everyone.
I really do think he's more aware and even envious of the 'villainess'. Maybe if he weren't a prince, and in another lifetime, he'd have pursued her.
