About Shinwoo:
We have yet to find out Shinwoo's backstory and why he came to be the way he is. It's too soon to judge his failings and crucify him. The guy is clearly suffering from a past form of abuse.
About Yujin:
So far we know Yujin is dedicated to Shinwoo. He is aware of Shinwoo's past attachments, and agreed to form a 'friends with benefits' relationship. He is suffering, as a result, but it's not hyung's fault. His choices have led him down this path. He can walk away, but if he doesn't want to, it's his choice. No need to crucify him, either. Btw, Shinwoo is not obligated to like him.
Final thoughts:
Life is both large and chaotic. These two individuals are trying to navigate the best they can through their feelings, thoughts, actions, and relationships. Also, the author has a vision, just trust her to do it justice. The reason for a character's portrayal, the reveal of flashbacks, appearances of new characters, etc. all occur for a reason. Just read with an open heart and simply enjoy.
