So I see you all saying "things would sort out if they just communicated" or "they should talk about it with each other ffs!" But honestly, I think we're all here for the drama and angst that make us cringe. You could "complain" about the lack of communication but then why are you still here? Simply because you are drawn to the conflicts that the characters are driven into. That's what makes it all the more satisfying to read.
There were a few manga I read where the characters did exactly as the "complaints" wanted. Communicate. But guess what the people complained about next? "That was kinda anticlimactic" or "that's it?! Resolved so easily?! I expected more to the story" and it was hilarious.
If it was real life, then yeah. Fking COMMUNICATE to your significant other and those around you. That's great advice to follow in real life. But this is not real life, manga (and any book for that matter) stems from conflicts brought forth from an author's imagination. It's fiction, miscommunication is a great tool to push the story forward.
Therefore I say LET THERE BE DRAMA, ANGST, AND MISCOMMUNICATION! It's proven to be more entertaining ;)
I mean I love Akatsuki too but... Please make it so they don't end up together? Or at least make her less creepy by the end... Hopefully she won't have a grudge or try to kill him since Akatsuki is my bias
