Don’t fucking lie to your partner
Also Pause. Rewind. Play.
Is it a cultural difference the thing about “I set you up with my friend already so you gotta go anyways”? Cuz idk bout y’all but in my case I’m straight up saying no. Like bro what part of I have a partner and I wasn’t paying attention when you told me about her did you not understand? Also why accept the dinner invitation? Ok girlie you made a reservation but it has no second name. Invite someone else or cancel it idk

Girlie I’ve been here for a while I know how fiction works that’s why I said “in my book”, as in “this is my own opinion in this, if it was a real life situation” and asked if it was a cultural difference cuz there’s lots of manhwas (kr mangas) who use this trope
Also I know I haven’t read the next chapter cuz it doesn’t exist in here yet and I don’t like reading raws (unless it’s Spanish and I completely switch sites to read it) or getting spoiled

Idk why you’re getting “it’s just fiction” when this happens in every. Single. Manhwa ever. At least here he did say ok even if he wasn’t paying attention but in most manhwas I’ve read they’re just set up without being asked AND it’s like saying “no I’m not going” isn’t an option, fiction plot device trope is its own thing but this being so common in comics really feels like it might just be cultural mindset ToT
At least WooYeol knows he’s his twink and not someone else
