I came to chapter 19 and decided that nothing interesting was happening. the character is tried to be set up like the edgy alone guy that doesn’t care about anyone but it’s not as interesting as fff-class trash hero or solo leveling. Yeah i guess he is trying to get revenge but it didn’t actually show the heart breaking past he had for the severity of his supposed hatred so idk he just seems like air to me. Simply nothing. So yeah should I continue? Does it get better?
Oof. I thought maybe you might be right about those other two comics you mentioned. I gave them both a chance and, nope, I found them both cliched and boring af. I mean maybe the ending of this particular story is sh!tty but if we're just taking into account the chapters that have been posted of each on here at least the main character isn't one dimensional in this story like the other two MCs are, where one has a past that doesn't fit with his personality and the other keeps following a single archetype that is so overused in these kinds of stories. At least this MC is a mix of archetypes.
Well... it is kinsa slow-paced... and this mc is more like a brains over brawns guy... His enemy's fame and support is so big that even if he magically got op as hell he would have to fight a lot of strong people before getting to him and end up as humanity's enemy even if he succeeded.. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I dropped both you mentioned cuz fff was making me too angry on mc's behalf (the bad side of being an empath) and SL got me bored... maybe his opness or his lack of a clear objective... idk... at some point I felt the mc becoming kinda flat... ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Guess I'm more into the revenge focused or the get involved in others sheet while trying to survive mc's... ( ̄∇ ̄")
Solo leveling is popular because of: the art, the opness like u said (which many ppl love), and teen simping on MC. The story itself is pretty average, whoever reads the novel first will get a pretty normal reaction, i personally like SL because of the art more than anything else and if the art wasn't that good i'd just say it's average not gonna lie, yes his badass fights are pretty satisfying but since am a novel reader i guarantee u, without the manhua the novel wouldn't be that popular neither. in terms of story quality there are way better.
So ur telling me you met this guy, whom u dont know the name of, and he told u that u are an M and like to get hit and u believed him and he told u he was a dominant S and that he would take care of everything and...and u didn’t look up anything on the internet and this is ur first time hearing about a safe word, I-
He said “Keep a handle on your master, doggy. Or else I’ll fill ur place” (or something like this) and first of all, no? Its not like the uke wanted to date you and wasn’t sure who to choose. He was literally dating yuma bc he loved yuma. There is no space to fill even if they break up bc u r no where in this venn diagram. Literally no correlation. You just decided to rape the uke bc ur a piece of shit that’s it.
I was just disappointed that she didn’t look like herself at her wedding. Even her husband didn’t know her because of that wig and that just seems wrong bc who is he marrying? You or this unknown beautiful girl?
I have a different take on this. We all know how obsessed Yuri is with losing weights. She's been insecure about it since day 1 and even more after getting together with Sumire. No matter how many times Sumire and Aoi comfort and reassure her, Yuri can never get that out of her head. She always wishes to be 'beautiful' even once in her life. That being said, Yuri can only be confident if she herself feels beautiful, if she's comfortable in her own body. In the end, she's got to be beautiful on her biggest day, in front of the whole world. And more importantly, she finally knows how beautiful she can become. And it's like a huge burden was taken away from her heart (cuz she failed many times to lose weight before and thought she'd forever be ugly). After that we could see her gaining weight again, implying on how content and happy she is returning to her most familiar shape, cuz she knows her true happiness doesn't lie in her appearance but her family. This story is not about Yuri trying to gain external validation, about how everyone and Sumire see her, because they always love her as she is and she knows it. In fact, it's Yuri's inner battle, a journey she must take on to find her self confidence

I waited and waited for Seraphine and the king to be like “hey! Ur like our daughter! U have her hair and my eyes!” But instead the king...likes her? It’s weird...why do you pat a 14 year old girl on the chest...why do you sleep with her when she is neither your sister or daughter? I wanted her to be play the matchmaker and make them fall in love faster but instead...this is happening...
exactly like that one chapter where they all slept together in his bed i really thought they were going to adopt her or something like the emperor guy and saintess were like a older sibling relationship/bond to her but the author really said SIKE enjoy this pedo/grooming relationship between a KING ?!! and a palace maid kid
Yeah I waited for her to suggest somethings to the king in that sleeping scene like “hold her hand, be gentle with her” but she didn’t care about the saintess at all???? Even though she saved her by curing her heart...like she didn’t only have to help her escape...she could have done what she did in the last episodes sooner...i had really high hopes for this but...
We just saw her draw a circle on the wood with her talons so...why can’t she just write? Like anything really. “Hey im the 3rd princess” or “hey im a magical bird and I understand you”
Those are my thoughts exactly
or like point at words thats already written on the docunents all over the table. kinda dumdum princess.
In her place, I would be afraid to say about human identity. She is afraid of the sisters and would have to tell one of them to her fiancé. Now she is safer because everyone thinks she is a strange bird and only Valhayle realizes that she is more intelligent than ordinary birds, but no one else has seen it.
If she started communicating with other words, they might start asking questions or somehow finding out about her identity, and that would kill her. I think not communicating is the best option until he knows more and knows who is trustworthy
My thoughts exactly, and also if she communicates to the captain dude, his subordinates can start thinking he's like actually crazy and risk his leadership. His troops start questioning him it'll effect the fight, they're already struggling as it is, so if they don't trust him it can cost them the war. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
At least this way she can be of use to the war effort and be able to do it without feeling she needs to constantly hide.
yea this makes sense but i think what we meant is that the fact that shes so frustrated when they dont understand her just doesnt
