it would have been perfect if it ended at them being together after realizing their feeling for each other. If the Author decides to make it a romance slice of life thing, then the storyline with realistic problems that comes with the age gap and life plan changes are perfect IF THE AUOTHER HAD ELLABORATED AND EXPANDED ON THOSE ISSUES. However, It feels like the author half-heartedly decided to write more and the result is = one chapter there comes all these problems, BOOM! next chapter they are separated, and BOOM! they have sex just like Mari said and everything is cool. Why the need?
the story is not for someone who is old as me I guess.
I know what you mean! For some reason, it just fell flat to me. I wasn't even happy when I saw they had a second volume. I felt like it wasn't needed for this couple and I didn't want to see more of them.
It was really strange because I loved the sex and the idea of the characters were great! But I just didn't like it.
Maybe it's age ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I don't think age has something to do with it. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I'm not that old but I think it is still... bland?
i don't think age really matters? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yeah, I had the same feeling. I saw a lot of positive comments and I couldn't figure out why many readers loved it. So I thought maybe it's a generation gap thing.
Maybe, it's a differences of interest then. Anyways, it wasn't our cup of tea I guess...
Yes, you are right. I also don't think that age in itself make much of a difference. I was just wondering if that's the case for me. Maybe it's how people change with age. Some people stay young at heart while the others go for a more mature story. My partner still cry for Romeo-Juliet type storyline, though he is the same age as me while his 16 year old niece thinks it's too corny ha ha.
i see. contemplating more about it, i guess age does factor a bit, mainly due to experiences perhaps. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Absobloodylootely agree. Was in the lines of 'rich guys wooing poor woman who claims she wants to be independent but ended up being his pet anyways' storyline that you see in books like 60 shades or something.
Haha you've upgraded the shades of grey haha (≧∀≦)
I don't know about the age thing but I agree that the story wasn't all that. I liked it but felt like volume 1 was already enough for them regarding plot and character development.
100% agree, I was actually sad whenever I saw new and fast updates for this one LOL. I kept thinking: omg not this one again !! Why updates for this one are so fast?? and then it came... 2nd volume!!! I was like : seriously???? so many good mangas out there nooooooooooo. Its like someone said above, the uke is like a wishy washy stereotyped woman from last century, and it feels like the loaded seme is just playing a fun game with him. Also I totally get yout point about age, I dont agree when people say that age doesnt matter. Everyone becomes more matured with time, its natural, the thing is some people mature faster than others but we all do. That being said it is most likely that an older person wont enjoy a sotyline like this, but of course its still totally possible that someone young deosnt like it either. The same happens in TV shows, some target teenagers, others target 25-40 people, whats the difference between them?? the stoyline!! But of course its totally possible that a 40 years olg guy enjoys the teenager show while a 15 years old girl enjoys the 25-40 one, they are exceptions though. Age does matter. My mother is 49 and she enjoys Pretty Little Liars, can you believe this? that show is crap LOL
IKR! I wish I can learn languages faster so I can pick some mangas to our taste and translate it. It's such a coincidence you brought up PLL. My partner loves it and insisted I watch it with him. I tried my best to finish half of the first season ha ha. OT: your username just cracked us up :D
True. It wasnt bad but it's nothing special either (=・ω・=)
+the second volume was completely unnecessary. It would've been special if it stopped at volume 1 sigh
