Me neither. The art, the plot, and even sometimes the characters are good. But her values, and idea on love, romance and dating doesn't sit well with me. Totally captivated, for instance, the seme treats the uke preciously while treating his ex like crap. He can be a crappy person but I could never understand how could a human being treat another like that- like someone is nothing.

They always leave me broken-hearted and kind of seriously hating one of the characters.

Yes, that's exactly how I felt after reading her Mangas. I'm not saying the entire story is shitty, but the characters are so self-centered and pitiful too. Need more character development or redeeming qualities maybe.

Of course, the stories at some point become addictive, but after a while they are all psychos. A real happy ending for her works would be at least one of the main characters going to therapy (≧∀≦)

IKR, it's not like he has a disability. There is no reason why someone who grew up in an island can be so dumb. Not knowing things that you are not exposed to and being clueless are two different things. I don't know why the author didn't get it

That’s precisely the reason he’s dumb, he grew up on a island that has no form of modernization then he grew up hidden from everything to be safe from Soohoo mom. So, yes, it is a reason he’s so clueless. He’s not going to grow up 18 years on a island then come to the city with knowledge of everything after being there for a few months.

If I follow your logic, it would mean that everyone who lives in a non-modern world grow up tone dumb. Following the same logic, everyone who grows up n that island for 28 years or more should be the same right! So why, then, is the girl smart? Like I said in my comment above, not knowing things you aren't exposed to is not being stupid. If you grew up in an island where there is no electricity, for instance, you would not know about electrical equipments and things like games and wifi- I agree. but it doesn't mean you don't have common sense. the way he is portrayed is of someone who lacks basic common sense, including things about human interaction with both males and females. He did grow up with people right?! Not the freaking jungle with animals.

He’s not dumb he’s just adjusting, going from one place to another is a big change especially from a nonmodernized place to a place that’s basically ran by technology. We don’t know if she left the island before, we know that HE hasn’t.

Again, growing up sheltered away from technology doesn't make people dumb. I can point out instances where he was displaying plain stupidity, NOT adjusting. But I can see that it will go nowhere so I'll stop here. Let's just agree to disagree :)

2) he was dumb because he shifted to a civilized/technologically sound area = nit a valid arguement, because we clearly see he was always daft looking
