... about this. I don't like this Tatsumi guy- he is neither true to Miki nor the young master. He was thinking of Ryouma when he fucked Miki and of Miki when he fucked Ryouma. I mean I get it if it's a casual relationship, but it was clear it wasn't (at least later) from how Miki answered his texts and how he himself realizes that he thinks frequently of Miki. Knowing this, when he disappears for a while, he has sex with Ryuoma. Understanding that how well Tatsumi knew about the young master, it's pretty clear that he'd understand that Ryouma isn't the type to sleep with him if he weren't serious. If it's real life, either miki or Ryouma would end up hurting the other... Miki is a coward, that's established so...Hm Ryouma, I feel bad for your future. Tatsumi doesn't derisive you guys so just get the hell out of there- both of you poor babies.

Damn, my prediction actually came true. Maybe I should shut up in future so bad shit won't happen. Feeling super sad for Miki (and Ryuma too) ╥﹏╥

...be yourself. I know most readers want him to be smarter and not trust people easily. But I think that is his strength. Not all investigations are just hide and find a scoop. Some needs interacting with people. And people could always tell when someone isn't trusting them. His trusting nature will open different doors, and will be useful in some other cases. Plus, though he trusts, he didn't let go of his investigation and did think Kaburagi could be right. Just give the dude a chance. Even if he's wrong.... I'd rather he make mistakes and learn on his own than simply trust his boyfriend.

    totally agree

I can see where you come from, but I don't think he should trust anyone he meet. His trust should come with some common sense too, but in this actor case, it didn't make sense the MC will trust him so fast after they just meet a few days ago. I agree the MC trust can open a lot of possibilities, only if it been use right and with some common sense. But well it didn't happen, it only show the MC have naive and stupid. Since we are talking about a grown man and not 6 years kid.

I agree with you that there is a kind of trust that is based on the utilization of common sense and evidence. Kaburagi's character is a great example of this kind of "cognitive trust". There is also "affective trust"- based on the feeling we get when we interact with someone. I think the author built Onoe's character based on these traits. My point is that neither is inferior/superior to the other. There are some people who value utilizing logic and reasoning and for them it might seem stupid that someone could use his/her feelings to trust another (It's more like my brother who is an introvert struggling to understand me traveling in packs :D). I guess Maychan is the type who uses common sense and evidence to form judgement ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ There is a cultural component to these two types of trust too. While the westerners use thee cognitive trust to work settings, a Japanese person would use both of them in a professional setting. So for us, it might seem stupid, if we don't really understand the Japanese think. When I worked their, at first, I was rather annoyed at the endless drinking and eating parties for work. They explained it to me that it's to build trust. But, we hardly spoke anything personal and the entire trust process was based on the feelings. Hope it makes sense :)

I'm glad I could share something new with you. I didn't know about it either, until I studied it in college under a course called Motivation and Emotion. Thank you for sharing your ideas, it gave me a different perspective. After reading your post I've actually realized that, unless you analyze the topic, normally people wouldn't be thinking about trust like this (≧∀≦) Have a nice day!
