I was dissapointed too when I figured out he wasn't real (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
My country do not spend the christmas with santa claus but the birthday of the christ instead so ever since I was a kid I went to the church and celebrate His birthday. And my family and friends never talks about santa claus or him giving us present ,since we are not used to wearing a socks in december, or having a chimney in our house. Cause my country is a tropical one. (=・ω・=) so I don't even had the chance to feel any disappointment. (≧∀≦)
I hope I experience it though. It's cute seeing a kid that believe in santa. ╥﹏╥
Hm.. true, it is kinda cute when you see kids who believe it. Maybe believing in silly stuff what's makes our childhood great. I blame my childhood disappoints on my brother who kept telling me stories about dragons and fairies and all the fantasy creatures you can think of. I believed I've actually seen a fairy too (probably a firefly lol). Do you have any mythical creature/ mythology related to any fo the festivals? or in general?
Oh! You're lucky to have such brother! I wanna one too! Since mine doesn't really talk about those kind of thing and is relatively quiet. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Yes i have! The chinese's new year monster who is afraid of the color of red (i don't remember it's name), which has became the lucky color for that day.
But that's all! We never really believed that it does exist. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Chiaki chan is just too cute. Usually the side characters are portrayed as as*@#%$, so when you read the spin off, you don't sympathize with them much. But Chiaki wasn't bad in the previous story and it's easy to see that he's like a puppy craving for love. So when he started crying in chapter 3, I was like ╥﹏╥
... another smack, but you get a hug instead (gap moe) =drool like a hound
