I actually agree with the critiques to some degree. I do feel like the drama was unnecessary, and not a good method for plot development. Especially when the drama stems from unreasonable jealousy and misunderstandings. I get that it’s supposedly to show that Taein is insecure but i feel like his thought process was just all over the place, like the author is forcing him to find a reason to be jealous. Also, the plot events are jumping from one place to another. Maybe i missed the details but they suddenly had a singing contest as a major plot event and the build up to it was lackluster ao it feels really sudden. Also, honestly the social media Imstar thing and how it’s included in more than half of the story is not for me, probably because I don’t really use much social media platforms like those. I see that people are calling out those who say this story is bad and calling it shit talking. A part of me thinks this story kind of deserves it, it wasn’t at its best. I was disappointed at the story direction and some developments were just sudden and bizarre. If i have to describe it, yeah it was a bit annoying. Is it the worst story though? Definitely not. I enjoyed it a lot in the beginning and at moments later on as well. I just think that people can say when a story is bad if they think so. I think they have a point.
Well now if you want to bash me too, go ahead.

I honestly don’t hate the dog that much, he’s funny sometimes. I do think he is being intrusive though and I do prefer that the cp go through romance by themself. But i see the dog as the author’s plot tools that exists in stories to push it along. Maybe it’s because it’s actually personified that it seems annoying and redundant lol

I like this but there is one thing that bothers me, the safe word. I didn’t like that Haru wanted to apologize for using the safe word, he did nothing wrong. He didn’t use it the next time either bc he was afraid of making Shirai hurt even though he was uncomfortable. What was the point of a safe word then? That just urks me a bit. I know that Shirai is pretty green flag and that he didn’t intend for Haruki to feel that way but just the way author depicts that situation didn’t go so well.

Those students of Ygret are all ungrateful. Sure Ygret did nothing in face of tragedies even when he had the power to but who’s to say that it’s his fault? He was never obligated to avenge or punish anybody. He didn't want to hurt people and thats okay. He grieved over the losses in his own way. He also saved those students from the goodness of his heart and they turn to blame him from not using his powers? How are they any different from those selfish nobles they scorn when they also give no crap about other people? I get so angry whenever they show up and act like they were entitled to receive help. They dare betray their savior just because he didn't do what they wanted. But they still scorn and blame Ygret? Wtf is this atrocity. If they did that like Ygret, just leave. Why hurt him? They haven’t even repay Ygret for life saving grace, the knowledge and teachings, and the care he gave when he took them in. In my eyes, they were the real hypocrites all along.
