I got frustrated. This is like a teen BL, it’s too immature and too juvenile for me. I don't think either parties are ready for such a serious relationship. Especially, our Eunjae in particular have such a fragile mental and physical state that overcomplicates all their problems. Sure they’re cute, but I can only see it as a first love thing and I know that they would have numerous obstacles in their future for them to be stable and mature. Heck, I dont think they can even last to adults, at least it’ll take a whole lot from their behaviors I’m seeing. I would be very interested to see them become adults though and see what happens

Tbh I do prefer the promo art. The current art is good, and could work for so many series out there but it’s just subpar for this one, especially after seeing the promo. It failed to portray the characters correctly. Like the MC, she is emotionless so her face is pretty much blank most of the time. I’ve seen too much emotions in her to really recognize that she lost her emotions, which is actually a big plot point. There are some little details that got changed in the adaptation that also subtly changes the nuances of the story. Ie. Her backstory when she was in the lab and her first impression of Lakus. Tbf I haven’t read far for the manhwa but as a novel reader, I feel that it is not doing the story justice. I loved the promo not only because the art is pretty but also the MC’s face is beautiful, doll like, and emotionless which portrays the MC perfectly. The scene panels also gave off the same vibe as the novel. In comparison to the recent adaptation, the MC feels like any female lead out there in stereotypical rofan stories.
