as much as I think he needs healing and a healthy environment this whole time has shown that as long as he's still a minor he's stuck. I relate a lot bc his parents were so similar to mine. and I couldn't get out til 18. was even kicked out technically twice. that rage he feels is so recognizable bc look at how much he has done to get away from them yet the system always drops him right back with them. I am worried this could blow up in his face but honestly he is standing up to them in the only way he can rn. they have gotten old and weak and he has the opportunity to have a kind of revenge. not that its always the best course of action but it is justifiable! and they deserve it! look at how the mom weaponizes her own trauma against him!

this so could have been set in a college and nothing would change. how old is this kid?? I'm 25 and feel nauseous at the thought of being a teacher and liking a highschool kid. even him being 18 wouldn't make sense. also mc has like no backbone, why is she a teacher? she isn't doing anything to prove she knows how to teach or even cares to. her students walk over her and she doesn't do shit? the art is so amazing and I like the plot of the dancing and finding his own path but he did NOT have to be a highschool student. feels like they are making her super weak willed to avoid any responsibility for an inappropriate relationship with a student.
