I really like the type of strong FL in Reporting for Duty, Duchess who has a cold temperament, doesn't really give a shit about what others think, doesn't have a weak "dodder-flower" personality, and isn't super annoying like some of the shoujo FLs I've seen. I really hate to see women characters portrayed as only interested in romance or only trying to vie for someone's affection with the "original FL" like in a rofan isekai story. I mean, in reality most of the popular and beautiful women are very talented in their own fields and can support themselves, so why do we have to read about FLs who are basically trash without ability beyond their appearance? But I'm almost always disappointed when reading hetero romance these days...
