The Sound of Your Voice really put me in my feels. It was a rather short story with only 64 chapters, but all of the characters had relatable personalities/backstories, which is great for being able to connect and captivate the reader. At first glimpse I had thought this was going to be a nonsensical BL with an over-sexualized MLM relationship but it wasn’t. I was able to see the growth and development in Ethan and Jimmy’s relationship as they were able to connect through their past experiences. They were able to be there for one another when they each needed it most- which was very refreshing and heartwarming. Although it felt rushed at the end, as we weren’t able to see Jimmy’s full background, this was definitely a good read and I recommend it to anyone who’s reading this ! <3
