The fact that I just found this out after they finished it in 2011 is a sin.
The whole series is awesome, Akumetsu did use real-life policies and bills that's why a lot of the explaination is incredibly detailed. We could understand what the whole country was feeling, the helplessness that u know when something bad is being done but there's nothing you can do. The whole corrupted democracy government work in the same way as it was depicted in this series, the top-spot bulging-wrinkly old men would blame it on the people for "choosing" the wrong person.
While the whole Akumetsu philosopy is wrong in so many level, but it feels very nice to see bad things happen to bad people. If Akumetsu did exist how wonderful would it be, that at least for once those corrupted politician will understand how true fear feels like.
The ending is very realistic, even though it hurts me knowing that, but I love how The Prime Minister understand his failure and chose to live as one.
