No worries folk, Ditrian's gonna find her and take her somewhere more comfortable later...
After that, he's gonna have a meeting with Leticia as the daughter of the saintess to hasten their marriage since the saintess went a bit bonkers in the next chapter coz of her paranoia of the dragon guardian...
At first he didn't know what to think but later on decided that all the nasty rumors about Leticia were wrong and truly fell in love with Leticia...
There will also be a scene where the Saintess ordered Noel to punish Leticia and Noel instead almost attacked the Saintess, which agh! So frustrating, would have payed money to see someone literally knocking some sense into that fallen Saintess!
Then there'll be a scene where Leticia asked Ditrian to divorce her after six month and while Ditrian agreed on the surface he planned to convince(woo) her so she would stay by his side still after that six month(which yeah felt heartbreaking coz she's supposed to die after six month if she doesn't kill Ditrian, in their past life Ditrian kinda made her kill him so she would survive TAT)
BUT despite the gloomy start the scene ended sweetly with a kiss coz Leticia asked Ditrian to get comfortable with touching her since she remembered Ditrian despising her touch in their past life...They were both so adorable ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Unfortunately, the readers can't be happy 4 long coz...the saintess is going to send Noel and her lover on a mission to attempt to massacre the troop going back to Ditrian's country after their marriage...
And that DAMN FAKE SAINTESS told Noel's lover if Noel refuse to do this task, he must 'take care of her' and I like, WHUT DID YOU SAY YOU SH*TTY SAINTESS?! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)

The male bird is a messenger bird from another camp, not brought there to be her mate...
But she IS going to find the bird 'dashing' at some pointXD
Bird instinct? LMAO XD
There will be a fluffy scene where she kinda coax the ML to let her off after she threw a tantrum coz she thought the ML was going to replace her with the male birdXD
I mean, this story centers around how nobles and politics, of course there will be plenty of slow burn parts since despite the Rustichel's demise in the previous life, they're not actually at the thick of the power play yet, and whatever occurred in the prev life that made the church move against the Rustichel, it probably hasn't occured yet, so narurally, Lippe's progress would be slow in her plan to downplay the church's authority.
She doesn't have the power nor the resource to take any drastic measure and she's a bit of a public figure with her modelling, so obviously she have to take extra care, not to mention she didn't want to upset the balance in the aristocracy so much that it cause her family's reputation to suffer too much since it could paint the back of the Rustichels' in red and alert the church enough to to target them again.
She's being cautious and realistic, and considering her circumstances; no considerable power, no magnificient achievement to contribute to the society of her own merit(modelling is just...well...), her age(I mean, previous life not withstanding, she's twelve, and her conflicting age identity from her prev life does NOT help), so I think what she's doing right now, although it may seem insignificant, but songs have the power to sway people's opinion and gives people hope and courage(like hunger games mockingjay) and it would be the starting point of discussion for nobles to ease into its concepts(instead of all the church jargon they've been fed their whole life), its subtle and easily overlooked until everyone is humming its tune unconsciously and incorporating it in their daily life...
And this arc also focus on her possible partner and allies for the future which is also important for the plot as it could open so many doors of possibility with each of their chosen careers and ranks if they choose to help her actively in her endeavours(the fight against the church)...The eye candies, minor squabbles, cracks and fluff in this arc is probably the calm b4 the storm that will shake the whole noble society once Lippe actively begin to spread folk songs and in turn soften the rigid stance of society against even SINGING stg not of church's origins....so we should probably enjoy the lull before being bombarded with numerous frustrating cliffhangers in the next arc....
All in all, stop criticizing the story, we all know how long the story would be when we first picked it up, since its related to church conspiracy(and those kinds of story are NEVER SHORT) so of course, there will be parts that are slow...
i agree, i used to really like the story and i understand the way Lippe is thinking, however it's a boring process with a lot of unwanted relationships ((like hal and lippe)) and also i just can't see why the duke castillo is trying to keep lippe away from the emperor? does he remembers the past life or not? what is his power? WHY THE FUCK THEY WENT FLYING IN THAT ONE CHPTER??? i just can't follow it, the autor is making things happen just because.
so yeah i do not see it as a good arc but things may get better in the future
Like the only difference is the ML isn't a prince...
A bit, yeah, but although there are some difference in term of who abused the ML, and how the ML was affected,
Still, the base of the plot is the same,
the FL wish for an amiable divorce,
the ML being capable to grow his influence, power and wealth in the shadow,
their marriage was arranged when they were kids,
got married, the ML first find the FL untrustworthy,
the FL try to protect the ML,
the FL convince the ML she's on his side and wish to be friends, they became closer,
the FL try to show her sincerity through actions more, the ML came to trust the FL more,
then when they grew up the FL ask for divorce and the ML refuse and the drama continues,
the only difference is the FL is aware from the start that she had developed feelings for ML, so yeah...
Well, I could give credit to the healing arc from abuse dedicated to the ML but really, although that part of being so negatively affected by the abuse he detests touch and women is a HUGE difference compared to the ML in 'The villainess wants a divorce', but it doesn't change the fact that the author for this story most probably built I failed to divorce my husband based on that story since 'The villainess wants a divorce' was published a long time ago
Huh isn't that manhwa with characters named caesar and canaria? I read that one and i love the story, but i never think it's a carbon copy, there's a similarity but not necessarily a carbon copy... It's not like there's no other manhwa with this kind of storyline, i read a lot of manhwa with villainess FLs who want a divorce so i lost track and stop thinking what's similar anymore since there are soooo many villainess FLs who want a divorce but failed child MLs that got abused and healed by FLs is also not a special story, there's a bunch of them... Kids marriage between noble families also really common in other fantasy manhwas... It's unnecessary to say it's specifically based on one manhwa because this is a popular troop, not to mention it's only a promo, so you don't know what's more of the story, most promo tends to look generic, you don't know the details
....I really can't come to term with the art style TAT
I LOVE THE NOVEL TO DEATH, so I was really happy to see it became a webtoon but I seriously can't reconcile the image of the characters in the novel with the illustration made in this webtoon version, so yeah, I'll just go and reread the novel now...
Am I the only one feeling like this?
where did you read the novel?
Here
https://www.lightnovelworld.com/novel/lucia-17031322
It's finished by the way
thankyou sm!!
Well here I am on the opposite. I first read the webtoons and now I can't help but imagine the webtoon characters as I read the novel. Thy are like moving pictures inside my head now. Lol. Hahahahahahaha. (⊙…⊙ )
The dilemma of having your expectations crushed when your image of the characters from reading the novel is completely different with the webtoon adaptation...
It happens a lot...
I wouldn't be struggling so mich if I found the webtoon first b4 the novel
Hahaha. I get you. I experienced that, too in some books I've read. And yeahhhhh... your right. The struggle is real. Hahahahahahahaha.
