First, lots of people are saying its illogical for ML to fall in love so fast...
People, its a manga, anything the author wants goes, have you read Why She Lives as A Villainess?
Now that's an example of WTH how did he fall in love so fast?! And with someone who have a bitchy reputation too...
At least Judith's reputation only says she'll do pretty much anything 4 money...
And dudes, there are plenty of people who are quick to fall in love when they meet someone who piques their curiosity or have
1)similarities bet. them
2)complete opposite chara to them
3)reject them
4)a sudden change from their prev. personality
They look like stupid, illogical reasons, but love ain't logic people
Second, people are saying author didn't develop MC's bad past enough,
In my POV,
When receiving news of ur friend's death, saying they were not skilled enough is just...as someone who's loyal to my friends, what she said was the biggest offense...
Let me give you a present example, if you and your friend joint the army, and one day, you received news that your friend died in a raid, are u seriouly going to say, oh we're soldiers, its natural to die on duty, if you dont have the skill, you shouldn't be in the army...
And the thing about money, I get it, there are plenty of people who would chase money, but people, she's not just anyone, she's a knight and an aether master!

If dozens of genius, beautiful villainess MC from other manhwas can be considered villainess for just bullying their love rival, or trying to break them apart from the ML, or attempting to murder said love rival, Judith can be considered an OP villainess compared to them...
Even Rashta is hated with passion when really all she did was basically steal someone else's husband...
She didn't kill anyone...
My point is, if the other villainess MC's who pretty much focus their bad intentions only on one person and the people around that said person is bad, then you'll see that Judith who kills arbitrarily as long as she's given money seems really terrible
I guess the author could have made more scenes of Judith's bad deeds to express her as a bad person in the past...but plenty of people like slow burn development for angst and traged, and pretty much all the heavy stuff coz it takes joy out from some of the readers...
To those who complaint about Judith not being a bad enough character, maybe you've been reading too much heavy books?
And then there's the comment of leader-subordinate relationship being wrong...
Um, people, you do realize that over a thousand romance stories have that cliche setting right?Right?!
Princess-knight, noble lady-knight, noble guy-maid, ceo-secretary, team manager-subordinate, student council prez-secretary...and many many more...

It's okay that there are plot holes in the story just accept it. There's no need to use your own imagination to fill in the spots the author didn't fill in. Also I don't believe that the Ml is in love with the Mc because why would he fall in love with a student just because she was more powerful than he thought? Its just him having an interest in her nothing more.

they’re just being nit picky cause we finally have something different, but yeah people want her to be the worst person humanly possible in her past and then have a redemption arc which doesn’t make a lot of sense. i think fgs things she did and her mindset back then are enough to have her laid out with guilt especially if you put it in the perspective that she aided in the country rotting from the inside out.

Also, I like how 9 times out of 10 we end up with cold n calculating noble MLs - with poker faces - who rarely show that they’re in love, but when we finally get smthing different & a ML with a different personality everyone nitpicks it to hell and back. Some people fall in love faster and SHOW IT!! On their faces!! Bruh, y’all are saying he fell in love too fast? Am I weird then bcz I started crushing on a cool guy after seeing him ONCE…
Judith’s badass, capable, beautiful, has TONSSS in common with Giryu and he clearly admires her a lot so why is it weird for him to alrdy like her???? If ur gonna nitpick the story at least make it make sense

How i see it, red haired ml just has a crush in her, i wouldn't say in love just yet, but ya some people fall in love fast over the smallest things, in my mind i think he finds her cute ang cool, that's sometimes is enough of a reason to have a 'crush' on someone.
Also, killing people isn't enough of a bad of a past?? Huh, I don't get it, killing people for money, or uh just killing people in general is kind of bad already??
I guess she wasn't bad enough cuz she was forced to kill people, BUT still it can be enough of a reason for you to want to repent, those kinds of guilt exist,
I totally agree with the point about bullying and being a b*tch is enough to label you as a ' villainess', but not what judith did, which is killing people in your government... But yes, the author could flesh out more of her past just a bit more, but it's still fine as it is.
