If he's going to blame someone, blame himself first. Would a little call of assurance/worry to his mother hurt? If monsters suddenly pop up, the first thing I'd do is secure my safety, then contact my family. Even if the mother is supposedly far, who knew if the zombie case was spread? And indeed, it's not.
I guess it goes along with the character the author built up. He is clever yet impulsive. A lot of what he decide is largely affected by his feelings. He is a teenager, was a subject to bullying, so it may have contributed to that. He has weak perception of the consequences of his actions, which is realistic in a way, bec in real life, a person seldom follow rationality in drastic events. But still, it's not like he's in bad terms with his mother.
On the other hand, the Father was bitten by the baby on the hospital. That's the origin, then he bit the people in the hospital, that's how it spreads. Then the question is, how did he went back to his neighborhood/near his house? He should've been a zombie to bite another person in the hospital, which means he's not conscious anymore. Why then, is he the only zombie to go out with a clear destination in their movement? Instinct? The zombie's body remembers it has to go home? Nah. Not buying it.
It felt kinda forced. The author used a drastic event to create a stimulus to MC. What's no better than finding out the zombie you're hunting is your father? Even I stan the premise. But the execution of the following events clearly show a lack of logical plot. Not really something to hate, but a nagging annoyance that just stick with me. Maybe I'm just tired of this overused plot. Must every parent die for the child to leave the nest?
Still, the art is really good. It was intense and the story is suspenseful.
P. s. Am I the only one who feels sick of shipping messiah guy and MC? Villainous ML is indeed famous nowadays but I never favor scums. My fujoshi heart would only accept it turning bl if the pairing's ending is tragedy tho.
So far, we knew that Crimson is the Dragon King who betrayed the Dragon God. Based on the clues so far, that means, she was the one who created/turned all the Dragon gangs (the humans turned dragons). The wing king, I guessed, is a replacement by this so called God, the Dragons memories were tampered, leaving them with no memories of her. Like the inability for them to see her face. (I don't know if it's bec of her ability tho, but I'm guessing not.) Or else, the Dragons would have long hunted her, if they knew her existence. Especially with how zealot wing king was.
And based on the hints, acc to Kamui, Wing King's time powers were not hers to begin with. They were a blessing, but her powers were much too mechanical, as if it's not a Bloodline ability but rather technology that she was given. How much she can manifest that power is proportion to her beliefs, that's why she's so fanatic. Clearly, the rest of the Dragon' gangs weren't so pious. They were only following her, as if she were some of kind of savoir in their minds.
Crimson knew almost every gang's information, from history, strengths and weaknesses. Just like when we were give a glimpse of Dragon strategist, Orthozora's human past, and a siloutte of Crimson in front of him, as well as his muddled feelings. Isn't that a hint? On the other hand, it was different from wing king. Although she may know some, but it's not the same with the rest. And when Crimson said she was cursed, it's may not be just the inability to die, but to be robbed of comrades, for them to turn on her, for her place to be replaced. To watch as everything she work so hard be snatcher and tampered. It can really turn anyone crazy. The reason she wanted to eliminate all dragons might not be as simple as revenge, but also to (her insane mind) erase her failures, or maybe atone for her sins. (like freeing them from dragon gods control). Bec, why all would she also want to die in the end after achieving her goals?
Is it bec, only when Dragon's became extinct, would dragon God die?
Or is there something deeper than that?
As for how she got out of that control, or why the god didn't kill her, I don't know. It might be just God's whim, just like destroying a country just bec it lost the chance to eat that shop's treats. Or maybe like a game, to see how she struggles, and in the end kill all her comrades? Also, Dragon God's silhouette is that of a child playing... Hmm... curiouser and curiouser.
Geez. I'm not trying to bash you. NO, I'm throwing rocks at you. Please pick another tame manga cause what you're doing is ruining the story. I'm a smut genre lover, only to find out the webtoon's most anticipated scenes were cut off. There's a reason it's tagged SMUT. To start off, it's originally SMUT. Please do change the TAG to SHOUJO, no, might as well create another title and put CENSORED VERSION if you're going to do this. This is just plain annoying.
Raws pls...
