How is this a female targeted game when more than half the cast are girls? Genuinely curious cause you’d expect more male characters to appease to the female gaze
I think it’s because this is the pov from the mc who is a male, so it shows more female. But if it was the og main then it would be a mixture but more of males. Cuz it’s a romance otome(?) game. But the mc is in the body of a side character. So he sees both female and male but because of what he’s doing trying to survive he meets more female characters. Considering the story (not the game story) ig the reason why we see more females is because of the manhwa over the male characters cuz the mc is a male. If it was a female u would see more male characters.
Trying to explain but my through process is everywhere so my explanation is shit
Basically we see more females cuz the mc is a male but if the mc was a girl aka the og mc the blue hair in the novel and flame in the game we would’ve seen more males.
The mc and the males don’t get a lot of interactions so we don’t see them much sadly.
That one panel of Erica and Chloe was not a good idea. It was already weird of him falling in love with a ghost that looks like his dead sister but when you put the two next to each other you can’t even tell them apart besides the color of their eyes
He doesn’t see them as the same people. I don’t either but they do look alike but I would look at this as a another character who has purple eyes and blonde hair that’s wavy instead☠ just ignore how similar they look☠ cuz in a art we all know how characters can look similar
(There are times I confuse characters☠)
Ngl I forgot that they looked a like cuz I was so focused on what’s happening and the shock from him asking her to dance☠ thought he was gonna dance in the ball thank goodness he danced privately in the balcony☠
Well, it's a manhwa. And honestly the art looks a bit amateurish? Or idk, it might just be the artist's style, I like it though. Look even Stella or that redhead all looked alike with mc and ml's younger sister. It's just a matter of different hair and eyes. It's not that they looked similar to each other in the manhwa, it's just the art. So I don't think ml likes her because she looks similar to his sister.
Yeahh, I think the same
It's probably the author's art style. The artist community calls it "the same face syndrom", when all your characters look alike
Tbh it takes a lot of experience to draw different faces in a satisfying way, the best way to do it would be by giving them different color palettes, but the story here says that the ML calls the dool his sister lol
But even so I don't think that it's rlly thaaaat weird Idk, it's like when you're mourning for your blonde sister and every blonde person reminds you of your dead sibling. He "sees" Erika as if she is similar to Chloe because they have similar hair, but probably different faces. Even if they were the same age I don't think they would look like twins or so, just two girls with a similar hair... Or at least that's what I choose to believe so it's less creepy ( ̄∇ ̄")
But yeah, I would appreaciate if Erika gets a different hair color soon
Why do I actually feel bad for Kevin…
You're too nice. . .
Agreed..
I also felt bad for Kevin bc you don't end up in drugs unless you have a situation going on for you, which was clearly hinted in a few chapters before. I know he did bad things but if he was clean he may have not do that but since I have the feeling that he wanted to be famous asap I get why he would get addicted, especially in the industry of entertainment where everything is so unstable and most of the time they need sponsors to get fame quicker than the others.
Are you justifying doing drugs? (Genuinely concerned)
I'm not justifying doing drugs, drugs are clearly bad and the context matters a lot bc the industry entertainment is full of junkies and drug addicts whether it be alcoholic or straight up drugs. So, I think it's "easier" for idols or any person related to the industry to do it under peer pressure or because they get along with the bad guys that have a lot of power and connections in the industry. It may start as a normal dose for relief purposes (like a lot of singers or actors under stress and anxiety get recommended strong medicines that can become drugs to relieve themselves by others that are already tainted and offer more hard stuff) but then they get addicted and start the whole cycle again with other idols and so on.
Obviously drugs are bad, I know and I don't encourage the use of them. In fact, I had a family member abuse drugs so I'm oppose to it but it was also hard.
I hope I'm explaining it right bc english isn't my first language :(
