i guess it's mostly because there are not too many good harem. whenever there's a harem, the story almost always lose focus, and all the girls are just very annoying.

I personally usually drop it because most harem mangas confuse "character and plot development" with "adding another character to the plot".

There's a ton of other reasons (using characters as accessories to the mary/gary sue mc, poorly done cliche tropes, boring relationships between characters, sexiness being confused for personality, lack of true romance in favor of gag romance tropes, etc. etc) but the first one is the one I find most egregious.

I am the opposite. I don't understand why some people enjoy watching or reading 10+ girls try to get with 1 guy. That's just very boring.

yes, i understand if he/she don't like harem, but but to drop it even before he/she read it...that what make me don't understand...cause i don't quite like harem espesially too dense MC, but if the story plot, MC character and drawing style is good then i don't mind

yes, thats true, because some manga are ruined cause author too focused on harem espesially a manga with mature tag...but i see a lot of people badmouthing a manga without read it, at least they need to read it a little before saying this manga trash/boring/etc

if harem destroy story plot and author make too much scene about MC harem( espesially ecchi scene), i will drop it too...for me its fine to make harem on MC but author musn't too focused on harem...but if harem didn't ruin story plot or MC growth, then i'm fine with it...

I usually avoid harem tags when they have ecchi in them. It's just a no, a huge ass no when ecchi is envoled in an harem, and recarnation seems to have alot of fucking harem like it's normal. The guy isn't even hot can you fucking stop you thots.

There is some harem ones, like this recarnation where he becomes stronger, and the females help him. I don't think he finds them in any way romantic because he saw them as they were all a child, and plus he wants revenge

And oh my god there was this manga with an harem with little fucking kids involved and I thought it was going to be a heart warming story because it involved an orphange but what the HonEST FUCK MAN THERE KIDS DONT BLUSH WHEN YOU SEE THEM NAKED SOMEONE GET THE FUCKING POLICE

Yona of the Dawn is the only one I like. Strong ass female lead, hot men with some BL in there, green dragon I know you gae, beautiful characters, the plot goes with the harem, and >:O where the next season of the anime
