And the contract is the only connection they have, so the mc felt that it seemed unfair if anything bad happens to the butterfly consort because of her decisions.
And also she was pushing her bodyguard to marry into someone's family and have his own life, because of the same reason. The moment she loses, all of their lives will be lost with her.
AND THE PLOT IS HAREM PEOPLE, smh if guys just want her with one dude, or you want her to stay with one dude most of the time. then go beg for the author to wipe your weeping ass for yah. This problem is something that is needed to add flavor to the story, to add a conflict that makes up the plot. It's not happy time orgy springland all the fuckin time.
So I see comments saying she's a bitch, I agree her words are harsh and quite insensitive (she doesn't know how to voice out her thoughts properly) but at the same time I relate to her opinions. Getting married and not being financially stable is definitely a no-no, she's younger than him so I can see why she's not ready yet for marriage. I think they should get married when both of them are ready enough to handle each other.
The hospital scene wherein the male lead went to pay for the FL's bills definitely stuck to me, she definitely felt useless for letting her partner pay for the bills, but she can't do anything because she doesn't have money.
I mean the whole reason why she's working hard is so that she can properly support her self and the male lead.
And also, the pressure of knowing the male lead has a family with high expectations would definitely make someone feel quite inferior and that the FL is scared that the male lead's family won't accept her for not having a good paying job.
As we grow older, we understand these kind of things that one needs sacrifice for their career and relationships. If you are commenting that she's a bitch because she refuses to get married, please read it again and see what she actually meant. I do hope the female lead develops further so that she knows how to balance her career and her relationship with the male lead.
Maybe the reason why people are upset about this is, its not fantasy at all, this kind of scenario can happen in real life. That's why some can relate and some hate it because it is somewhat true. I wouldn't want to depend on my partner forever, I would want to work hard for the both of us.
And also, her emotions wasn't portrayed greatly, it was either drawn to look comedic or just plain arrogant when a serious scenario is playing out. The plot is okay, but the way it was presented was lacking.
I get that the mom is worried, and more cautious because shit happened, but she's creating a barrier where her son is obsessively controlled and mentally abused. She also needs help, the trauma of betrayal has definitely gotten to her. Hope the fl gets to help the mc, and FUCK THAT "GOODY TWO SHOES" BLACK HAIRED BITCH, like I swear the moment she was shown in the manga, I SMELLED BULLSHIT, her fake ass smile be obvious like why them people fools to believe that.
i cried reading this, i guess the fl is relatable in a way, and shes definitely much more real than other fls. And the character development was superb ヾ(☆▽☆)
its a wholesome S&M relationship, kinda short though well I mean its a oneshot so-
