this turned out to be an implied insest store the overprotective bother with romantic feelings.
An yes I know .. "they're are not blood related mimimimi" but they still had been growing up as siblings and acting as sibling too and the FL also loves him as a brother, the FL has definitely no romantic feeling for her brother (yet..urgh).
So in the end he probably make some stupid things that pressure her to make her thinking: she loves him as an "lover"
In my eyes it's implied insest.
And I hate the decision of the author to make her fricking brother to be the ML.

And making her brother her love interest don't make the story more interesting or shocking just because "woah forbidden love and complicated complex story telling" it's just gross.

To be fair, they were only siblings for a year, much of which they refused to see her as a sister and then they spent the next 6 or 8 years apart with little to no contact. I'm not so concerned about him as I would be if it were her 'twin' or cabel who actually have spent the last 7 or 9 years as her brothers i would consider the oldest brother her benefactor at best
What about her past life?
Sure she said they hadn't a good relationship but she said as they grow older they got better along with each other although it was not like this situation.

Actually she loved him in the past life as well and that is shown in the novel and will be shown in the manhwa probably. I think that the present Eugene has as much of a chance to get together with her as any other ML, cause from his perspective he only lived with her for a year and didn't see her as a sibling. Yes, she had memories of her past life, but in this case when we see that she loved him even then but suppressed her emotions cause he had a fiance/was married, I think it is totally okay. Also incest is not about sibling feelings, it's like biology and genetics where you have sexual relations with person who has same blood and dna..
If i recall, in her past life they pretty much shunned her completely. It wasn't until this life she actually forged bonds with them
Well later when they all grew up they had a good bond and they (brothers) had regret about how they treated her in the past, but in the present timeline they created a stronger bond earlier.
Tbh I think this story has potential to be good but it's moving crazy fast with the story so you don't have any time to build up emotions with the characters, so it's really hard to "Fangirl" over those "cute couple scene".
Not to mention the immense stupidity of the FM. I like airheaded and innocent characters, but this female lead is not airhead, she's dumb.
