They always make the character a minor and pair them up with an adult like it's fine if they at least made a timeline of they got to know each other in the years it would take for them to be adults especially since this is just an Isekai of some kind and not a wuxia related thing

Xu Yan spread the Mc and ml’s relationship on social media and they used that chance to officially announce their relationship to the world. Mc got kidnapped, but oh how the turns have tabled~ Xu Yan got caught. 2 years later they famous af and ml proposed. Think I covered most of this arc
