Tess' dad had his reasons though. He only did that for his people and he wouldn't have done that if he had any other choice. When the other members of the alliance voted for art to be imprisoned and killed (kinda forgot if he was to be executed but I remember that the punishment was severe) I remember Tess' mom and dad strongly disagreeing with it and I think they also sent their Lance to help art escape from the prison.

Wait so Tess is the elf princess right? Also assuming that’s true why did her dad betray the continent. And why is art being imprisoned? I know I’m spoiling it for myself but I don’t mind spoilers. Mostly cause it’s going to take so long to actually get to that part in the manhwa.

Tess is the elf princess and Arthur's love interest. Lance is a title to six 'stongest' human, elf and dwarf. 2 of each race.

Well, i do remember Tess dad had his reasons, and i also remember that Tess parents strongly disagreed when Art almost got executed. Imo Tess parents isn't that bad at all (saying this while droping the novel half-away), and for me the bad one are the Dwarfs tho, they literally make a way for the enemy's to get into their continent with that single hope that their race would survive. Anyway, i don't want to drag this on(and end up with a fight), so i would like to end this here, tho if you want to reply to my comment then sure.

Yes exactly! I do agree with you. it was the dwarf king's fault (mostly) coz he's so greedy and he was only thinking about his interests and wanted to be one of those at the top if ever the enemies were to conquer the kingdom.
and oh, sorry if you though this was gonna end up in a fight . I'm not one to get angry if ever we have contrasting opinions tho so u don't have to worry about that. I was only sharing what I think too. anyways thanks for sharing ur thoughts :)

Kinda forgot like half of what I read but I think here's what happened. So remember the recording device that they've found and in this time they announced that there must be other races or what out there that's more advanced than them and they might be spying on them. That other race (forgot what they're called) were the enemies and they plan to take over their kingdom (sapin and all other kingdoms) and they negotiated that they'll spare the lives of those who will become their allies. So yeah, Tess' father had no choice bc that's the only way to save their people. And since all the kingdoms (dwarf, humans, elves) formed an alliance, they ought to decide as one. So they voted and that's how they chose to side with the enemies. tess' parents were just forced tho, like they didn't really like the idea of siding with the enemies coz even after siding with them, there's no guarantee they're not gonna kill them. Same as the king and queen of sapin. but take note that what I said here may not be all that accurate coz I really forgot most of it.
