Please yaoi Gods do not make MC a weak fool in love. I'm all for an MC similar to "the foul" in this type of plot where ML clearly wants to use MC and if MC falls first, it'll be unbearable to read. I don't mind MC expressing his feelings eventually, but if MC starts acting in love while ML is hell bent on fulfilling his objective and sees MC as a tool, that isn't a plot that I'm personally interested in

I have an opinion that is probably as controversial as going against the Swifties or Kpop fans: I never cared for these two tropes: "princess and her knight" and "enemies to lovers". Oh no the horror! But seriously though, I especially dislike the latter. Just to clarify, I can get behind a "two classmates who used to hate each other falling in love" but the "two people from enemy nations having tragic love or betraying their countries for love" is one of the shittiest tropes, in my opinion.

They shouldn't have ended up together. The side stories made me even more sure of it

I'm always happy when the characters do no sacrifice professional opportunities for relationships. It's different if they have a nursing baby that they need to be around or something like that....but in most situations, you know that rationally the character should accept the opportunity but the author either drags it out for too long or portrays the rejection of the opportunity as some form of a romantic gesture.

I don't know where this is going. The most realistic plot is for Nolan to be a completely different person but why would he have flashbacks like that? I still hope he is a different person or else this would be so cheesy

I do like this story and I appreciate the effort the translators are making but reading the word "bamboozled" spoken by a character in a pseudo historical setting breaks the illusion for me. I can no longer suspend my disbelief after that

I'm rereading this and chapter 2 doesn't sit well with me. Not a single decent person would have his hand around his potential kid's babysitters back like that. That is weird. There is a reason that that position has always been used for romantic partners in real life and in fiction. If you want to meet a potential babysitter use your words and don't touch her like that. It's not like the misunderstanding was caused by her being his car or him opening the door for her to enter the building, both of which are acceptable. His touched her lower back.

I do not dislike the art at all. It's just that some panels are more beautiful than others (same character) so, if the artist eventually shows the same consistency across all panels, I have nothing to complain about.

I'm not one to drop a story because of art. Years ago, I used to read the original version of "Black Haze" and didn't even notice that the art in the first 30 chapters (or maybe more) wasn't great because I loved the story so much that by the time the art improved a lot, I thought it was always like that and only realized it when I went back to the beginning.

Art adds to a story but doesn't salvage it if the plot sucks. Also, and this is completely subjective, I like a yaoi with peculiar art especially when it has buff main characters. It just feels more attractive in a way
