What a conniving bitch. As a grown up woman, I understand that love doesn't solve all and that sometimes the differences between two people are bound to tear them apart so, I would've respected Kyle's mom if she continued to voice out her objections and never agreed to the marriage. But her doing this behind the scenes while smiling and welcoming the girl at game house is garbage behaviour. I hope that she lives to regret her malicious actions

I love how consistent ML's personality is. He has always been unhinged since he was a kid and I love that the author didn't pull the "now that he is in love, he will magically pull a 180 and become a good law abiding citizen"

this must be one hell of a slow burn because up to chapter 20 in the raws, it's very boring

You know that game where each player gets a word and one of the people has a word unrelated to all the rest and then each person describes their word and the purpose is to point out the odd one out? This story feels like that.....each chapter is like it was written without any cohesion with the rest of the story

ML is such a dickhead. He approached MC, love bombed him to an impossible level, and then when MC who is naive and experienced wanted romance, ML acts like that came out of nowhere and MC was assuming too much....what a dumpster fire

We've seen this plot many times but it's a bit refreshing to experience it from the mother's POV as the MC rather than the daughter who is being abused and denied her privileges as the rightful daughter.

Fucking hell this is emotional....I love this story so much. I love that not everything revolves around MC and ML's relationship and that it feels like an actual story with so many moving parts. I would love to learn more about MC's master who betrayed him, about MC's journey since he gained this immortality if he had family along the way that he loves and lost, more about him, the fox guy and ginseng child, and of course more about how he and ML will get closer eventually.

I hate ML so much but it must be so traumatic to be in his shoes in chapter 101...having what you think is a normal conversation with the person you love only to find out that they've been stabbed and are on death's door is awful...tha's like trauma 101

I have a feeling that this story will raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels ...
