There is definitely a good way of having the "not like other girls" characters and this isn't it. While the pick me girl meme is funny, some girls are not like 99% of the girls (not that it makes this girl better than the 99% of girls, just different) and that can be fun to observe especially in such a historical misogynistic setting. However, her being at a ball and running to a guard to caress his sword like a fucking weirdo is not it. I hope this gets better with time
Everything is so immoral and weird but if I were the give the author any credit, I would say that they did a great job at portraying demons as far from human values and norms as possible which is weirdly refreshing since many stories with a demon ML end up showing him in a human light.....this author was like "not on my watch! This story will have every taboo known to the human race from grooming to rape to every other atrocity that this story gas"....truly remarkable
Exactly, that's the whole reason the story made sense if we really talk about "demons" They aren't humans and bears no human values.

I clicked on this so fast after going to "Roses and Champagne (Yaoi)" to reread it for the nth time and seeing this as "other manga by the same author" but then I see that this has only one chapter and it was last updated 4 months ago.....my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

I'm particularly disappointed in MC because I've enjoyed stories with a good MC despite the garbage guys around him especially if MC tells them to fuck off and lives the way he wants to. But nothing can save a story with a shitty MC
If I were the author, I wouldn't have gone the route of having these two get together in this alternate universe but hey, what do I know...I'm a passive consumer and I don't have any control over this so, I'll take the author's creative vision for what it is and drop this if it becomes too much for me

Yes but from ehat I remember (I read novrl passages a long time ago), in every universe they end up together....sure it's like MC from universe 1 with ML from universe 2 and vise versa but they end up with each other....I'm not fully on board with the author's vision because I would rather each of them heals and ends up with another person, but I respect the author's decision
Wait I read this a while back bur I wanted to make sure of something, he never knew MC was a guy not a girl prior to his memory loss, right? I'm hoping that's not the case and that he knew and didn't care because if he didn't then he will feel betrayed time and time again after regaining his memory. That would be awful to read
I think it's kinda implied after the mc got drunk. There's a lot of close up shots of his masculine features like his hands and his adam's apple and shoulders and stuff. So the story subtly implies that Yoonsung is seeing him as a guy now.

ml knew mc was a man and didn't care but he pretended not to know, since if the mc knew he was exposed he will use it, the fact he is a man, as a reason to refuse the kindness and to build a gap between them
Awwwww I was hoping this was the case because both MC and ML are so precious
every time I find myself smiling at how whipped ML is, I remember the shit show of season 1 and I just wonder if I can ever truly enjoy this as a romance without feeling guilty about it
