I hate it when characters take another guy's love for granted and does whatever they want. I mean he knows the black haired guy is so much in love with him so he left just like that without even saying good bye or a simple note or a promise to meet up.
He just left because he is confident that the other guy loves him. I hate that.
I know that in a way he returns that love but your actions should express it too. I hope this was longer and they met up again when the black haired guy got tired of waiting or felt less confident in their love and just moved on.

so before giving my opinion let me say this: the way you would evaluate this manga depends on your age/experiences... because honestly, if you asked me what I thought about it up to when I was 18 years old, I'd probably say that I hate the seme and he made the uke suffer for nothing and the uke is a wimp too for not moving on.
My current 23 nearly 24 year old self who's single (since birth lol) and very wary of love matters thinks otherwise. I can relate to both characters but the seme on a deeper level. I can relate to the uke's uncontrolled feelings because that is what love is but being a person who is so scared of rejection or causing disappointment I can understand the seme's point of view even more. Honestly, I can't imagine myself making the first move on someone that I love and I'd probably act the same way he did I wouldn't say I hate you to the other person but I would try to run away from them and remain as someone they "look up to" or "like" better than letting them down

that's your own opinion. I enjoy writing and reading other peoples' opinions and trying to see things from their point of view. Just because this is a manga and not a real story doesn't mean that it has no depth and we can't discuss how relatable the characters are.

exactly-- lol I guess it's because I'm older as well...i wrote a very similar comment. This story concludes much of life's suspense rather than a common "i love you, let's have sex" on the first chapter.

I've read quite a few manga at this point and I've noticed that there are many characters that readers find to be assholes but I really don't share the opinion. I really think it has to do with age and experiences. The older you get, the more ppl you meet, the more you realise, not everyone has to be nice to someone just because another person confessed. Not all relationships work, ppl cheat, ppl get dumped, we don't always end up with our first love, life isn't perfect.

I am older as well, um, WAY older, haha.. 63 . , and I think you guys are attributing your own reasons why Sou-chan would act like that, ... but that's not what he said.. He gave the lousy excuse that he was afraid Haru would surpass him, get bored and leave him. He knew Haru loved him, he said so. So it was cowardice, no maturity, imo . :)

exactly "he was afraid Haru would surpass him get bored and leave him". That is exactly my point. You may see it as simple cowardice but I think that as they become older, people act more cowardly when it come to love. Personally, I think it's because they become more realistic and lose the fairy tale illusion. As I said in my original comment, if you asked me what I thought about this story 6 years ago I would've thought the seme has no reason to act the way he did and since they both love each other they should've gotten together and lived happily, end of story. But the older me who grew to realise how easily someone can fall out of love understand's the seme's mentality like you said "he was afraid Haru would surpass him get bored and leave him". I don't want to seem too serious commenting this on a manga discussion topic but love is whimsical and it can end as easy as it started so I don't think we should wrong people who fear attachement because they want to avoid the break up and the heartbreak

Hi akera, well, I am not judging people, just the story really... Sou-chan made those decisions to leave and etc, when he was young, while in high school.. so I don't think he had so much wisdom from age or experience. And again, when he was older, he actually was cruel and blamed Haru ... and while he is older, he decides someone else might get the toy he has always left dangling as an ego boost to himself and goes to get him. He's not a likable character.. And clearly , while being a manga,it's an art form, and it's compelling, that's why we are talking about it, haha

I absolutely agree that he was very cruel and the way he blamed Haru and felt threatened only because the other guy got interested in him is absolutely despicable. I just relate to him on the emotional insecure level but the way he acted is hateful. The uke didn't deserve such treatment from the guy he fell for

I do too especially on the internet where I don't identify myself using my origin, appearance or religion. It's fun to discuss things without assuming anything. I only get to do this on maga websites and wattpad

I'm reading the 2nd chapter and I decided to glimpse at the comments and they're either expressing huge disappointment or demanding more sex so I've half lost the motivation to continue reading but I'll do it anyways

there are messed up stories out there that I can't even stand but every now and then I read a story with the dark/possessive/manipulative/obsessive theme and I just drown in it I love how the bad boy is jealous and is falling for the teacher but he is so messed up that he can't explain his feelings even to himself so he goes as far as to make sensei's love interest hate him in order for sensei to have no one and seek comfort from him It's very twisted and cruel but I like it. Only thing is, what the bad boy isn't thinking about is that the young master will probably get over his "hatred" towards sensei eventually and want to seek a romantic relationship with him especially if he knows that sensei is being threatened and is in love with him(or it would be appropriate to use the past tense because when this happens sensei will probably be too preoccupied with the bad boy)
I'm so looking forward to the update and if raws are out there I sure want to peek :p

Your comment legit expresses all my thoughts and feelings tbh

I love al the stories but something about the 5th chapter's uke is very appealing. He takes control a lot and not in forceful cringy way, he is very hot and acts manly instead of a blushing shy uke. And the seme is great too, a perfect example of how an older lover should be.
Overall, I love this so much I've read the last chapter about 8 times in less than 48 hours lol

    mango September 25, 2016 5:40 pm

Totally agree with you! read it a bunch of times too, lol. Great oneshot - both hot and sweet XD

akera September 25, 2016 12:00 pm

I don't mind an asshole master that eventually becomes gentle (although I hate it when they "display" the uke or publicly humiliate him but if it's privately it's acceptable) but and asshole till the very end makes this story not worth reading, I regret it. Reading the summary, I somehow hoped it was going to have a cute ending, how wrong was I

akera September 25, 2016 8:25 am

I seriously love these stories where there's unrequited love and the one falls in love first thinks he has to give up and then the other person starts to fall in love because this type of stories is more realistic... in real life, there's like 1% chance of someone falling in love and finding out that the other person also loves him, it's far fetched. Someone has to fall in love first and suffer, from that point it's either heartbreak or the other person realises how much the one who loves him means to him. I'm really looking forward to see how this story develops, that is if it isn't dropped

    Anonymous November 6, 2016 4:51 pm

Actually Fujita was in love with the other guy already.. But the other guy didn't convey his feelings properly... I can't remember the guys name.. How embarrassing ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

akera September 25, 2016 8:07 am

It's so strange how my taste in yaoi goes from fluffy cute pure ones like this to super obsessive love with a super manipulative dark seme x'D
In both cases, it must have love (I hate yaoi with mere lust) but still it's either "aww how cute the seme wants to cherish the uke" or "the seme's fucking the uke like there's no tomorrow" there's no in between these two categories lol

    Chriskaylex October 4, 2016 5:08 am

I wouldn't label the seme "super dark and manipulative." He's immature and didn't know how to deal with his own emotions...he's just a teenager. There are much darker, adult semes.

    Chriskaylex October 4, 2016 5:10 am

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, never mind. Reread your comment! SORRY, MY BAD. I misunderstood

akera September 17, 2016 7:27 pm

Honestly, here's what I think about this. It's not said as most people said, it's not that messed up to have yaoi with brothers either. I think this is considered messed up because of their personalities but the best word to describe it would be UNROMANTIC. It's as simple as that, it didn't have my heart throb at all, it didn't feel bittersweet, it's pure lust from the big brother's part with a masochist touch to his personality and a bratty little brother wh's a bit on the sadist side. The little brother doesn't even know if he likes his big brother or not, he messed up his school life by spreading rumors about it which is not okay just because "he saw his brother sucking another guy's di*k"

akera September 15, 2016 4:48 am

I adore this mangaka already, I've read Koori No Mamono No Monogatari and this story and I must say, it was worth the hours spent reading it :)
I'm so happy this ended well, the other story as well ^_^
