if he catches you reading bl just tell him you are just reading a story where the mc is gay. and that he shouldnt act weird about it. you dont need to tell him rn, i havent told my bf either and wont in the future, but if he catches me reading it ever ill just tell him yes i do read them cuz its cute/nice and has good plot or some shit. if youre in the midst of a smut then say you are not a homophobe and wont skip a good story just cuz it has gay smut

or better yet just tell him you read mangas/manhwas and you found the shounen ai section(dont mention yaoi maybe) and that the plots are very cute and stuff and he should try out sometime. dont make it weird by saying you are obsessed by it unless he is on the same page. i literally had a male friend getting flustered when i say him reading a shounen ai manga. its nothing to be embarrassed about and there's nothing wrong. your bf wont mind unless he is a hardcore homophobe
