How to know someone doesn't know shit about psych: they start talking about freud

For those who don't know, Freud is considered to be absolutely full of shit within the modern psychological community. He is not someone you look to for valid points. He is a menace to all people who love psychology. While there is value within the psychoanalysis field as a whole, Freud is Not It. He's more like a meme that has been completely tired and worn out but people still keep repeating it and it causes us more psychic damage than anything his purported therapeutic treatments could solve.

1. Hexion is a treasure, he's not just trying to jump into Adele's pants even though she's offering because he's recognizing that it's a weird situation and he doesn't want her to feel pressured into anything
2. Adele is fantastic, she said what we were all thinking instead of letting the two guys fight over her. She literally did what I've been waiting for FLs to do all this time, she shouted at them and went "I MADE THIS DECISION DAMN YOU, RESPECT IT"

People are really like "she's acting like a child isn't she 18 mentally?" and like, bros, I hate to break it to you but
1. technically you're still a child at 18, your brain ain't done developing until you're like 26 so you still don't have all the executive functioning capabilities of a full-fledged adult
2. and that's for neurotypical people which Hailynn is not because she went through some serious bullshit and she definitely has PTSD which directly affects brain development because stress hormones have neurotoxic effects
3. and that's assuming she is retaining the level of brain development she had in her previous life instead of her brain growing all over again, in which case no matter what memories she has she's still gonna have a kid's brain and they do not work the same at all
4. even leaving the neurodevelopmental possibilities aside, if you confine a person for a significant period of time they're not gonna act like an average person for their age because we're social animals and Hailynn didn't have the social exposure that someone at her age needed so she's probably still mentally a kid
