What's going on is: The merchant group are posing as weaklings and are acting innocent when they are not. They made a bet with out mc and lost a lot, and since then they've been holding an immense grudge. Since then, they've been looking for our mc even though part of the blame as to why they went under was due to their greediness and irresponsibility. The mc pretty much recently figured out that the head of the group is acting like a wolf in sheep's clothing, and he's just waiting to see what will happen. Right now they're acting like weirdos and have main character complexes LOL we just need to wait until they reveal themselves more blatantly.
I love how Ivy has meet kind people since from the beginning of her journey, not saying by luck. Ivy got some really good instincts and nature. I can't wait for more! Thanks for the update ^^)/
