it's not the best story out there but it's an ok read. the art is very pretty ig

There wasn't a blonde maid to begin with. The girl that Ditrian's brother mistake as a maid is Liticia herself. She regretted not being able to save Ditrian's older brother (╥﹏╥).

Well, Roxanna and Dion basically made a deal.

Dion wants Roxanna's affection (I think, not sure if it's platonic, or not, or maybe he just wants her emotions? You know, make her feel something for him?). So when he realized and found out that she let Cassis escape, he threatened Roxanna of letting the family know, or chasing and killing Cassis before he escapes completely. So, in turn, Roxanna made a deal with Dion. Dion would keep her secret, and she would ally herself with Dion. (They're basically in this together now, since Roxanna let an Agriche escape and Dion kept quiet even though he knew)

Then a scene of the original novel came up, how silvia (the original protagonist) learned that her brother (Cassis) is dead, and vowed to kill everyone of them who killed him. (Supposed to be)

Then jumped to 3 years later.

I'm not completely sure of this because that's just how I understand it, hope it helps tho. (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

but does that mean the scene in the original novel with silvia occurred in the present timeline or was it just like a lil flash back to what was supposed to happen

Yep. It was just a sneak peek of what was supposed to happen in the original. It doesn't exist anymore since Cassis is alive.
