Took me a while to find it again. I love re reading this manga whenever I stumble onto it. Only thing I hate about it is that sister, what a bitch! I didn't like her the first time I read it nor do I like her now.
This was awful, not only was the story all over the fucking place and made me feel like I was getting lashed around in different directions but the characters were so bland and lifeless that even with the over reactions in the characters faces I could still feel nothing. The drama was such trivial shit and was painful to get through. This was a waste of an hour for me. Definitely a skip for anyone browsing and thinking of reading this. You're better off reading literally anything else.
The communication is on point! They talk to each other when they have a problem, they openly express when something is wrong, maybe not right off the bat but it's not dragged out and quickly solved. They express their love to each other and re-ensure each other when the other is feeling upset or unloved. Me and my homie love characters that don't drag arguments out by not talking to each other.
All the characters are fun and full of life, the romance is amazing and the couple pairing is top tier. If you love steamy romance and cute couples who genuinely care about each other and characters actually solving their problems then you'll love this!
Honestly i avoided this Manhwa for a long time but i'm so happy i picked it up, definitely a great read to start on right now if you're on the boarder and not sure if you want to read it! Def recommend!
I am in no way saying i dislike this Manhwa but it's not something i'd recommend.
Characters aren't too memorable, the story feels all over the place at times and arcs drag on way too long, the fact that Gujiu has almost died (or has and been brought back) several times is annoying, the third brother is an obsessive weirdo that i can not stand and honestly he's the only character i truly strongly dislike.
Only thing keeping me reading this though is the chemistry between Lianlian and Gujiu.
I enjoy each moment they have together and the way their romance is portrayed is adorable and i crave more each time they have their moments. I don't know how much longer i'll keep up with this series but for now (Chapter: My Boyfriend is a Jiyiwei Vol.2 Ch.96 : Third brother's end new) i'll come in and out and peek to see what's happening.
in a way i can understand you. its a typical chinese manhua, putting a lot of drama just to make the story long. it was cute and good at the beginning tho.
Agreed usually I would reread but with this Manhattan I just cant do that torture too myself even tho I really like the story it just feels all over the place at times
The story felt rushed, the romance was awkward and didn't feel genuine, the characters aren't memorable, the teacher was a creep and her mom was a bitch. This is one I should've just skipped.
Fujiwara is making me so mad, holy shit bro you can't just sit there reject her 3 times then come out of the fucking wood-works and now have feelings for her. I wanted to root for him but this back and forth isn't it man. Stop toying with her emotions. I really like Shitotaki, i'm rooting for him now 100%. He's forward and knows he likes her and didn't beat around the bush, i don't understand the appeal of guys like Fujiwara. That ''I'm broken and need healing'' shit isn't cute.
