Firstly , I really love the first couple! They are so fluff and cute! The author really portrayed the difficulties of being in a same-sex relationships.
Secondly, the side couple’s conflicts are being portrayed very well as well, realistic to the point of hurting. They reminded me of those long-term couples, who were way past their honeymoon period, where one starting to lose interests in another or set their priorities where their partner comes second.
I understand why Wonhae did what he did, I am not going to excuse his “pretend cheating” act but at the same time, Dojun has been going on blind dates set by others and was asking Wonhae to be “more understanding”. It seems to me that Wonhae has more trust in Dojun than Dojun in Wonhae when it comes this matter; both can assume one was cheating on the other (lipsticks mark, hand touching), but Dojun went berserk when he was suspecting WH, while he asked WH to be understanding when he did something similar (blind dates). That’s a double standard right there. I believe WH did try to communicate with DJ but was brushed off multiple times until he was fed up. An eye for an eye, I guess. Again, not excusing the pretend cheating but gotta call out the double standard.
Nonetheless, I’m taking no sides and I want everyone of them to grow from it and get their own happy endings. There is no need to curse or degrade a fictional character or the author for writing them.
