Aren't love and obsession the same? What's the difference between them?

Love is being able to put the other person before yourself and even sometimes letting go if you realize it the best for the other person. Obsession is thinking mostly of yourself yet still convincing yourself that it's for the other person.

If you go down the list of comments you can literally see how people are saying the translation are trash and they can’t understand nothing which is a lie and did I say y’all should lie and pretend the translation is good? NO but at least be respectful about cause they didn’t have to translate plus people would be begging for someone to pick the book up and translate it anyways cause they are too lazy to read it on the official page and complain a lot

lel, as someone who has worked as a translator before and was part of multiple scanslation groups, let me tell youoone tthing : you don't need to be grateful for sth like this. actually, it's alright to be mad about that. people with translations like that often snipe series from proper translators, bc the updates aren't "fast enough". also if the translator would really care about the work, even a tiny little bit at all - they would ask if someone could be proofreader. proofreader is a position which gets filled immediately, believe me. it's a simple job, but shows lots of results if the translator is not good at English.
so no, there is no need to be grateful, just bc someone picked it up. there are many proper groups out there who would have picked it up, they just don't know it has been dropped. it's not easy to know if it's dropped or if you're sniping, believe me.

We understand the proper type of English language. We are absolute believers of proper Grammar in sentences or at least of a readable one that won't cause a headache. We're not delusional to pretend that this is even readable. Plain as that.

A translation that is not understandable or appropriate interfers with the story, the art, the setting, the smootheness and the enjoyablility for the reader. Even if the uploader means well, their impatience just causes prejudice. Many people drop stories because of bad translation or bad quality. Believe me quality is always preferable over quantity, free content or no.

Since you know so much about what to and what to not do why don’t you try translating a book

Also, doing constructive comments are actually useful to people translating instead of being hypocritic and acting as if their translation is good when it's simply not.

I have yet to meet a single one who is not mad about such translations, but sure. I have no idea what I'm talking about and I'm sure that other people who actually care for their work are fans of those translations.

let me give you another example: imagine you're a person from a non englisch native speaking county, and you don't get proper education in englisch. so what are you gonna do? well, if you enjoy reading Manga, why not read them online, in englisch? you get a feel for the language, and you enjoy it.
so you might say "but if you want to learn proper englisch, you should buy an officially translated manga!"
and there's the problem. not only are there countries, which hardly have any manga (that's one reason for people like me to read it here, bc we simply cannot buy them) and even more : you can't buy them in English.
so now you might say:" just buy them on Amazon!"
I'm sorry to disappoint again, but that is actually as difficult as the other option, because for some reason, Amazon doesn't like to deliver a lot of things to my country.
so now you might say: "just watch a video in YouTube with subtitles"
and I'll say : "first off, since yt has removed the auto translate, fewer videos have subtitles. also I might me having a hard time and need more time to comprehend the sentence on the screen, but it's gone to fast and I have to pause every few seconds, which is annoying. "
