Its about a world where weapons aren't allowed, and instead people fight with hypnosis microphones. Basically they rap into the microphone and affection the other person's psych. The story follow 4 (well 6, actually, but the come later) different groups of rappers and they fight in like a rap buttle thing. They all hot men of course and very shippable so djs are common.
Anyway the anime was pretty fun but a completly different story from the manga, and in my opinion tge manga is wayyy better so i advise you to read it. The anime you can watch on any pirating platform (gogoanime, 9anime, ect...) And the manga you can read from a tumblr blog called slug translations
Oh also, the two from this dj are doppo and hifumi from the group mtenrou and if you read/watched the source you would understand why they're being shipped so much. They're childhood friends and they live together, their personality is so different and yet they still get along so well, doppo being a depressed officer worker and hifumi a host with a split personality who is terrified of women
