I mean I think the concubine is going yandere for the mc. I'm pretty sure she never has felt attraction before for the emperor and then she started to feel things for our mc when they hung out together. Plus with recent events I think she is starting to resent the emperor due to the fact that he actually seems to be falling in love with mc. When she said she would help mc get closer to the emperor I doubt somewhere deep inside she actually believed that the emperor would actually catch the feels.
